For a rookie AND for a gg, I think that they had the BEST performance. Their energy and confidence is unmatched, it's like they were born for a big stage. I cannot wait for future stages with KIOF, supporting them all the way through!!
Belle might be the best main Vocalist of 5th gen⚡So powerful yet etheral voice ...she can not only hit high notes effortlessly but also can keep harmonious tone
Julie trained at The Black Label(YG sunsidiary) and Natty trained at SM(for around a month) & JYP but the other two never trained at another company before their current one. Belle said herself she didn't train at SM but used to attend SM Song Camps so she thinks people got confused after seeing her there a few times. Haneul has also said herself more than once now that she never trained at HYBE.
The video was supposed to be us watching the audience's reaction but I watched the "small video" more with 😲reaction the whole time, same with Haechan hahahaha
There were a few live performances besides KIOF. Please keep in mind sometimes they upload official clips with a different audio and I've also seen some people say they had audio issues this year so this might not be 100% correct. Silical Gel, Lee Youngji, imase, KISS OF LIFE, and SHINee(there are fancams showing they sang live but the official clips were edited) were all definitely live. ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, and NCT DREAM were hard to tell for me(it seemed like some members were actually singing and some weren't so I'd say they were all 50/50 live vs lip-sync); also, I saw someone say that STAYC's Sumin said on a PM app that they sang live but the backtrack was too loud. The only ones I'm 100% sure weren't live(or completely live) are RIIZE, IVE(Liz and Yujin were the only ones actually singing), and NewJeans.

'Cause I've watched a few clips and it's quite obvious imo that they weren't singing live- it even seemed to me like the members weren't trying to act like they were. Their mouths moved in a way that made it clear they were lip-syncing(like closing before the note they were "singing" finished or barely even moving at all), their expressions didn't show like they were putting any effort into their vocals even at difficult parts, and the audio was too even. IVE's voices throughout the performance were a consistent volume that's just not possible when singing live while dancing; they didn't shake at all when they def should've for parts that are lower or breathy because those are difficult for even the best vocalists to control their breath for. I also couldn't hear two distinct layers of vocals(backtrack and their actual voice) like you should when someone is singing live. It's possible they were at times(at least Liz's first high note in the pre-chorus sounded like it could've been live imo) and the backtracks were too loud but I'm fairly certain that at least not all members were singing live at all times so I wouldn't count it as a live performance.
@@buddies6389 Official clips aren't super reliable because they're often edited in post, as I said before, but I've watched both the official video and multiple fancams and it's still obvious that not all of the members were singing for all of the reasons I listed above. They're not even actually breathing at parts where there's a breath in the audio(super obvious in Rei's first line and a few times with Leeseo) and the audio is still consistently one layer of perfect backtrack with no second layer of vocals or uneveness where their voices would naturally be quieter (like Wonyoung's 'hum' at the end of her first line should not be the same volume as the lines before it if she were actually singing it). I found another fancam that confirmed only Yujin and Liz were actually singing. They both def did sing their pre-chorus(Liz)/chorus (Yujin) parts and Yujin sang her high note in the bridge, at least. I think Liz sang all of her lines but Yujin did lip-sync part of her first line; if you need help determining the difference between live vocals, you can hear the second vocal layer of her actual voice and notice the difference in her mouth movements when she's singing versus the 'way' part where she def wasn't(I also think she lip-synced the words before that but sang the ones after but I'm not 100% sure on that). I want to make it clear that I'm not hating on IVE and this is just personal preference so you can disagree but I personally wouldn't call a performance "live" if only 2 out 6 members are actually singing live. Saying that they lip-synced isn't me saying that they can't sing as I've watched clips from their concert(you should watch that to hear their actual live vocals) and they def can sing live but they just mostly didn't here imo.
