So the Nicola Willis purse tightening has resulted in a raft of consultants descending on charities? And it just so happens Sir Bill English owns one such consultancy? 🤔
Great to see Mr Campbell fronting Q&A today! My question is ~ how do cash-strapped charities afford $30,000 for a consultation? Impactlab have made $9 million to date from charities. This doesn't make sense to me. How can her company do this? Is she related to Sir Bill English? And we know why the Coalition Government is cutting funding to charities...it's because they think that people struggling with poverty are "bottomfeeders". Also, cutting employment and putting more people onto benefits helps to "cool off" the economy. With scant regard or respect for those who have lost their livable incomes, and who then have to go to charities for help. Often full time employment doesn't even pay the rent. Thank you for your marvellous programme!❤
@@adsdft585 that’s the thing right, this is the exact type of job Nicola Willis is trying to prune out of government. Much more lucrative as a consultant than an employee…
I wouldn't say less hospital investment is a saving, the beds being full with sick patients, rather then homeless looking for a bed is a better investment for the public. Really what this data is showing we don't have the staff to operate our hospitals if we are filling beds with the homeless, right is the board making the statistics look good, but not solving underlying issues within the system.
@petraginns7326 yes! I'd like to know which are the 300 charities who've had to pay $30,000 too. $30,000 is more than a beneficiary receives per annum.
Hey, so have you consider the duration of a science degree. Im sure you have heard Peters talk about his favorite Maori lawyer who achieve the bar in just 2 years. Well in the modern era is costs about $6000 and only takes 3 months, so while the title of Dr does equate to a high level of intelligence, the fact of the matter is there are alot of people without that title who can compete at the highest level of research.

30K per report??????? So they have made over 1 million dollars. What a grift. It makes me second guess where my charity money is going?????

News has reported foodbanks running low on resources. It's not a good reflection of society.
She's Pope Pious Bill's daughter.
Interesting that she couldn't give formula for per hour return . May be the select committee summon her and get her to disclose the formula.
This government doesn't read reports
Is this person an example of backroom government employees? And she highlights how such jobs have impact outputs of government.

Did Mike King get an Impact Lab report for access to I Am Hope funding?
If so, it has not been published by the government, which highlights democracy as important.

Under a right wing govt: be a 🐑 a 🪱 and give them more power & wealth 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Economically it sounds like a woke culture, but what do I know. But I pay my taxes by law not by conscience!
What do you think ‘woke’ means?
