Eggplant is pretty easy to grow. 70 to 80% seeds germinate. The plant doesn't need much care however if you have monkeys in your area then most of the fruit will be eaten by the monkey. Baingan is monkey's favorite.

I am seeing leaves in my plants are eaten by something. I checked the plants and soil and could not find any bugs on them. Neither caterpillars. Can you help me here. What do you think is the reason behind this? Also all my hybrid sadabahar plants died after flowering for couple of months. Are they not perennial like our desi sadabahar. Thanks.
