Wow, I really enjoy the reaction, and I'm really surprised about weekly schedule because I usually hear about the buffer, so it was kind shocking to know that isn't the default, and it's pretty normal work on the episodes the same week!
damn i just finished School 2017 and Kim sejeong character was a high schooler who wished she was a web toon artist when she grows lmao, im thinking of watching this now
Just found this reaction video, but I dl'd the app after watching the first episode and I'm currently in love with Marry My Husband (having fast passed to the furthest episode). Now I'll check out Spells from Hell.
I've heard a lot of bad stuff about the weekly upload things. Like there's Lezhin where back in 2018 (i think) where they overwork the artists and barely pay them to the point where they protest, there's also recently an artist of a popular webtoon that is based of a novel (which is normal in Korea) that forced to keep upload weekly even tho she hasn't heal from a miscarriage. The one who suffers the most is always the artist/author and deserves every limelight they've got from their works.
For sure, the artists work really hard to deliver us weekly series. The most we can do as producers/editors is to give them as much support as we can!!
Well there's a big difference about making a webtoon on japan/korea, and America, why did I say this? Well, it is usual that webtoons in asia many are making by a studio (no all of them for sure), where many artist works, and the quality is high, so the effort necessary to make those are huge, and if u see the webtoon on america, they don't usually have the most incredible art quality, and that's because they know that people aren't going to look in detail at every single panel, u see that difference easy when u look at them that why probably is most usual that artists have many more troubles, and u see that kind of overwork and perfectionism isn't only on webtoon is everywhere studies too, or other kinds of work. I really hope that this kind of thing doesn't happen that usual in America!! Because at the end perfectionism is everywhere
@@saraperezmonsalve7588 yess, but in Asia countries I think only applied for Japan and Korea (probably china too) because they've been doing this longer than any other asia countries and the one that go international always Japan Korea and china, they're in another level that even america webtoon couldn't compete with.
@@saraperezmonsalve7588 I think you're overlooking something. Webtoons in Asia is a huge market, but TEAMS make webtoons. It's rare to have a singular person work on one. Usually there is a writer or colorist to aid the artist. Webtoons is also a newer concept to Americans, so it's not as popular when animation and videogames is more popular. Comics are also a bigger thing in America, so the quality preference is different. You say a lot of American webtoons aren't really good, but I looked on Navar and A LOT lack the basic fundamentals of anatomy and coloring. Webtoons prefers "pretty" work, but in America, obvious 3D assets and similar bodytypes make the art less appealing. But this is just a preference. Korea and America have their own standards on what makes webtoons pretty.
I think it would work better if it inspired and not trying reproduced the original story. Manga industry and webtoon have a lot unseen different. Not including it dragged to 16 episode too.
NOTE: 2:09 I messed up my girl groups so I snipped out that part to avoid confusion. The group is Weeekly and the song is After School!

It really depends on the series! Some run through buffers quicker than others~
My favourite drama this season! Please watch the whole thing it gets so much better as it goes on :') 💖
Can’t wait for the next video! It was so nice to hear some behind the scenes!
You answered the question from your previous video! 😊😊😊
