I have said this before, but the Canadian phrase "shagging the dog" is incorrect. It is actually (in British parlance) "Dog shagging". Basically it means doing nothing of importance or value. It stems from when dogs get overly excited they will walk around 'humping' the air ... doing nothing of value or importance, but simply going through the motions. It has nothing to do with actually screwing dogs. Hence the phrase "dog f**king" or to use it in a conversation: "What's Bill doing?" "Bill? Oh he's just dog f**king". Not to be confused with "Screwing the pooch" which would translate to "Oh man, he's in BIG trouble". Used in conversation: "What happened to Bill?" "Oh man, he screwed the pooch. His boss caught him dog f**king when he was supposed to be getting the job done."
12:50 Ooops. "The Man Who Never Was" had nothing to do with D-Day (the Normandy one that is). It was about the invasion of Sicily. Not June 1944, but July 1943.

Stephen accusing Alan of not inviting him to his wedding only for him to say that he did but Stephen didn't come is always funny.
Phil's reaction to Santa not being real, and Steven reassuring him, will never not be hilarious no matter how many times I see it.

Yes, because Stephen could have made a speech at Alan's nuptials and he is the BEST speaker in the (English-speaking)world.
