Just a small update. We are having a girl just like we wanted💓💓
Thank you all. Unfortunately we received some concerning news at our anatomy scan on Monday. They found a small amount of fluid around her heart and we have to get another ultrasound in 2-3 weeks to see if it's still there.
At our follow up ultrasound the fluid was going away. However we still need to see a specialist because at my last prenatal appointment her heartbeat was irregular, so my doctor wants to make sure everything is okay and that she is getting proper blood flow.
She was born September 19th at 42+2 and perfectly healthy. There haven’t been any more issues with her heart.

1 surgery, 5 IUI treatments, 1 IVF treatment... after almost 3 years of being married my wife and I are expecting a baby girl in the late summer! Heard her heart beat a week ago and in brought tears to our eyes.

My girlfriend of two years told me she was pregnant about a week ago. I always thought i would hate to hear someone say that to me. I cry every time I hear this song and I dont even know the gender yet. If youre religious please pray for my babies health. Its gonna need it.
Edit: I didn’t think I’d get this many replies, or likes, I feel bad not notifying everyone sooner. She had a miscarriage, since then we separated. I moved on and found another woman who was better for me. She got pregnant and also had a miscarriage recently. I feel doomed to not have a child but I’m still young so I’ll have plenty of chances. Thank you for everyone who took time out of their day to comment, and pray, I like to think that it just isn’t my time. I just recently married the woman I moved on to. I hope you can connect with other mom/families who are in the nicu as well, and you can connect with the amazing Dr's and nurses. Honestly, when I felt the stress taking over, holding my daughter, closing my eyes and just breathing her in. Also if you can keep a blanket or piece of clothes to smell if you are breastfeeding, because it can help when you pump❤

I grew up with an extremely emotionally abusive and once physically abusive dad and two years ago I had to be removed from the household. Last March my mom introduced me to a guy she’d known for 25 years that she started dating. He now is more like a dad to me than I ever knew possible. It’s crazy how all these terrible things happened to my mom and him and how every single negative moment in the three of our lives lead to them getting back together and him meeting me. Everyone swears that somehow someway I’m his and truth is I am, maybe not genetically but I am his daughter. He sent me this.

When my daughter was born (3/15 @ 4:36pm) the local radio station was playing this song. Really added to the tears of the day.
