Vancouver Voyage - Exploring beyond the limits of Vancouver Velocity 1

- In a previous video, I mentioned in the description that I would look for a way past the out of bounds detection. Here we are! Beginning with Vancouver Velocity, I drove outside the track by going around the gates. The video is watermarked simply to prevent misuse of this footage as fake claims or fake leaks since the video's purpose is merely to show what's out of bounds. This took a long time to make and edit, I hope you like the video!
PS. Pay no attention to the CPUs disappearing, that was just the way for me to make this video easily.
After two years of waiting, it's finally time! This video still shows the paths that can be made into a future third variant!

@@justadramattico I wasn't referring to that, I meant this still shows everywhere on the road. I don't believe we visit the tunnel in this version.

I now expect something like Lap 1 being the original variant, Lap 2 being the third (potential) variant you chose there, and the final lap being the one that goes inside of the tunnel and then the hockey arena there once it gets into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. ;)
The ice ring section looks like something they could use for battle arenas.
As someone new to Tour and the MK8 DLC, I appreciate these videos as it gives us an idea on how the courses could be remixed for the DLC with each lap being its own route.

Honestly, if this was in mk8's dlc, the bridge section right before the glider ramp would be perfect to be anti gravity!

I'm fairly certain that's a Mario kartized version of Stanley Park! It's wild recognizing some of the landmarks, I know the hockey rink, I know that you drive under the Olympic torch into the Olympic village!
And probably a 4th, which uses a mixture of the other routes, like Tokyo Blur 4 being a mix of 1, 2 & 3 and New York being a mix of 1, 2 & 3
As someone who lives in Vancouver, they did a fantastic job recreating the city. I can name every landmark that appeared in the video and it amazes me how they were able to fit so much in! I really hope this appears in the Mario Kart DLC!

Anyways, I'm surprised they bothered to put Science World of all things in the course, but I guess that shows how accurate they want things to be.

The full Vancouver area part VV1 looks amazing! Especially the ice rink. Hope they use that in VV2

This just gave me an idea for a city track rmx where the entire map is open so you can choose any route you want although there would be extra stuff like dash panels on the longer routes so it’s a bit more balanced

This is so beautiful. 💜 I love how they portrayed Coal Harbour and Rogers Arena, and what I suspect is the ... Massey Tunnel? So beautiful and so close to being finished that I feel like they've got to release it at some point. I was surprised they didn't do Granville Island but I'm definitely not complaining!

Well, there we go: VV2 has been launched! And the cool Davie Street part is not in VV1 or VV2, so it could definitely make its way into VV3 if it ever gets made!

So the beach and ice rink are both in Vancouver Velocity 2, but that still leaves the mall-like area and the alternate exit of the ice rink.

This is badass! Can you do this for London or Sydney? There's another youtuber that explores the tracks but he goes all over the place. Yours is so much better bc you stay on the tracks while exploring.
Sydney, Los Angeles, and Berlin coming soon (although not as much effort as this video). London has explored a majority of the track, I'm not even sure if there is a path we haven't been on anymore. Paris is done, New York is done, Tokyo is done, Vancouver is this video and that's all of them so far.

My guess is to how it could work in Mario kart 8 is that you play through the first version, then you go on (or should I say under) the road that still goes unused today, turn backwards and play through half of Vancouver Velocity 2 normally, and on the last lap just play Vancouver Velocity 2

Lap 2 - Vancouver Velocity 2 R (Instead of going backwards)
Lap 3 - Vancouver Velocity 1
Its confirmed that tour tracks on mk8d dlc uses multiple paths a la Yoshi Valley

2:49 now because of MK8D I can see this part being added if VV 4 exists
I don't think it will be, it doesn't have shadows on the road if you notice, though the track could be updated to have shadow collision
