Also when u apply the soap bar when cleansing, make sure to wash ur hands before, with another soap bar / liquid soap would be ideal. Make sure to foam it in your hands before applying it on the face.

Ive been listening only a week. Before, i had reoccurring pimples on forehead, chin and cheeks. I also had blackheads in the nose and chin, and lots of dark scars on my forehead because I have the worst habit of acne picking. SO

tips for clear skin:
1) Sleep is important.💤😴🛏make sure to sleep 8h+ everyday. The skin rejuvenates between 10pm to 2am so try sleeping durting that time. Change your pillow sheets every 4-5 days to prevent bacteria getting on your face. Train yourself to sleep on your back to avoid wrinkles and sudden breakouts.
2) Hydration is also important. 2l of water (8 glasses) everyday are perfect. You don't have to drink one galloon of water to get clear skin, it fact, some studies show that it can worsen your skin if you drink way too much.
3)Build a skincare routine. This chapter is very complex so I suggest watching videos about skincare, but if you're new to skincare, I'll give u some basic info:
- *normal skin
~Characteristics : not too oily, not too dry, in between
Usually doesn't deal with pimples and isn't prone to acne
(But if you have acne you CAN have normal skin dw - Plus it's way easier to treat it if you have normal skin🥲)
-*dry skin
~Characteristics : skin is dry to touch and doesn't produce much sebum.
-*oily skin (mine😃😃)
~Characteristics : overly oily (increased sebum production), is more prone to acne , face looks shiny, oily t zone and cheeks
-*combination skin
~Characteristics : oily t zone and dry cheeks
You can also have sensitive skin on top of that, so when searching for products make sure to look at the ingredients and look for the phrase 'sensitive skin tested'.
Now that you know your skin type, here's a simple routine. AM : Your skin needs cleansing (use a mild, gentle cleanser), moisturizing (i recommend effaclar h for all skin types lol), and then sunscreen (spf should be 50+ UVA + UVB and if u stay out in the sun a lot make sure to reapply 2-3 hours)
PM : cleansing, moisturizing
If you have any skin concern, like acne for example, eczema , whatever.. I can't help u with advice. It's better to go to a dermatologist and follow their advice. I've been to 6 dermatologists . Yup, you heard me. Acne is a battle , clear skin is a process and consistency is key.
4)Following up with some tips for the oily skin ppl out there:
I wanted to share my personal tips with you guys
-Never skip moisturizer
-Oil blotting sheets are a MUST. They save u literally. Make sure to use them not more than 3 times a day.
-If you're looking for azelaic acid don't go for the cream , go for the gel instead. The cream clogs up your pores
-Patch test first
-Use a PH balancing cleanser (ph should be between 4-5 on the ph scale)
-Use sunscreen that doesn't clog up your pores, doesn't make u overly shiney... I recommend A-derma spf 50+ sunscreen and La roche posay spf 50+ shnscreen. there are specific ones but im too bored to search them up rn

@@yurisubsx Just to clarify , the dove soap bar (original) contains some fragrance , which can make the skin break out, but it does not harm the skin as much as other soap bars do, with lots of fragrance.
Also when u apply the soap bar when cleansing, make sure to wash ur hands before, with another soap bar / liquid soap would be ideal.
Make sure to foam it in your hands before applying it on the face.
