I can't tell the Gaithers how much comfort they brought to my grandmother. She was bed ridden and the old hymns brought her joy and comfort. All she wanted at her funeral was singing. And we did. We sung longer than the preacher spoke. At her last birthday party,all she wanted was for her family to sing together. We sung all the hymns we all knew. And all she wanted and some twice. That was Feb. 24th and a month later, we were singing at her funeral.
