Honestly Choosing the support would be the safest choice for two reasons 1. Longevity DPS' units tend to be replaced over time while Supports can ONLY be replaced by another Support with Even Higher Utility and that would negatively affect sales of the character. Which Most companies won't do. They want our money after all. 2.Utility, Being able to grant a Team Buff on the Fly is extremely useful in the scheme of things, Especially in CO-OP based content which the game seems to be heavily focused on is PvE So CO-OP is highly likely to become a major factor. 3. is Personal Preference but personally I've found characters that offer more Utility tend to be far more useful for Team Synergy and Endgame Builds as there's normally some aspect that can be built around that Utility turning the character into another "Genshin's version of "Best Boi Bennett" or Worse "Bofuri's Maple" Utterly and completely spitting on common sense, or the game's balance. I've come up with some crazy builds in many games that are pretty out there. I Legit Created Maple for PSO2 for fluff's sakes. And YES She CAN'T ALMOST DIE. Instant kill attacks are honestly the only thing the game won't permit me to block, BUT I'll still survive with 1hp 70% of the time, that other 30% is just bad rng.

Something to take note of: - 5* yao needs her signature weapon to be T0, space cowboy. Else, she's pretty much just okay. Also, she gets alot stronger after getting Phase 1 of Manifestation. Recently the dev did a influencers only close beta testing the new build with cover system, according to those who were involved, the diffculty is significant higher which can hinder the performance of shotgun characters, enemy ai is also improved, and bullet ricochet against armored enemy is toned down so you can expect smg and AR characters to be more potent.
Im choosing lyfe she might be weakest and have lowest damage but I don't care about that fun is the only thing i want and i loved her character design 😀 there is no reason to play the game if im not enjoying it ❤
I have 5* Yao, 5* Fenny, and 5* Lyfe. Weirdly enough, I mainly use wild hunt compared to those higher on the list, Fenny being my 2nd most used operators
Just started playing snowbreak while hunting for game with sniper combat. So happy to see the sniper being the most op one as its my preferred playstyle too. I think its kind of unfair that sniper gets long range, lowest ricochet and highest dmg. Can jst sit back and shred armour and hp of enemies which i could otherwise only do by first going close with shotgun. Well thats jst wht i gathered from reading info of different weapons in game. Havent selected my sniper yet. Will do it now and hopefully have a blast!

I honestly don't play snipers much and I've been enjoying wild hunt more submachine guns are more my cup of tea I'll probably get fenny due to pulling wild hunt without my free 5 star unit
I’m pretty sure pistol has a higher dps than sniper bc it does have high consistent damage so if you click fast enough it’s dps would probably higher than a sniper

I don't really agree. I love snipers. They are good in story mode especially hard difficulty where range can do stuff. And they are especially deadly with that condition. On the other half Marian's and Yao's sources of damage is skill energy. So the burst is really awesome but then it's recharge time. I think the best ones are Fenny and Lyfe. Fenny do a lot when E is on and can constantly support it while shooting especially with m3. Same for Lyfe. With m3 her wolfs are just endless and they do damage constantly while also freezing. My choice were snipers and I like them very much. But against most neuralink bosses on lvl 5 they are barely enough

They simply choose who's gonna be trash, OK and OP characters and obviously Chinese characters are going to be the OP ones in their game. Also add the one in honkai star rail, it's definitely not a coincidence.

funny enough that my 4 stars fenny is dealing huge amount of insane dmg and i pretty much one shot all weak mobs and elite mobs v but boss meh dies in 3 or 5 hits lol
I think you have to start it to determine if you think it is good or not. Good is subjective, I may think this game is good (which i do) you try it based off that premise and you think it's not good. You have to try it for yourself and then determine if it fits your preferences.

@@andreigelaga4120they should have something like the gigalink in pvp. Like, multiple loadouts with different builds and you chan choose whatever you want.
yea i can see pvp with some of the event maps (with the jump pads) or evacuation maps (being able to jump in those weird map spaces) Hopefully its a balanced mode cause thats really all that is needed to keep player retention
