The PT-19 is one of my favorite planes and holds a very special place in my heart. My grandfather worked and built kits for a company called IMP and he designed the PT 19 for them and for work for many years at mini air shows while I was a kid. One day my grandpa brought home a crashed a great planes PT-19 1.20 sized that crashed and he was building a new one for the guy. I asked him if he could rebuild the crashed one for me. All that was left of it was the tail and part of the wing. A few wings go by and he rebuilt it and it was brand new! I was probably only 5 years old at the time. I was the the happiest kid and baby that plane and took care of it and felt so proud! 22 years later and I still have that great planes PT-19 and it still looks just as good as when he rebuilt it. I own a lot of planes as well, over 130 and the great planes PT-19 is my favorite and hangs in my hangar with pride! I don’t fly it anymore and it just hangs up and a great memory!

Very deserving capitan.. You both have been so entertaining and informative.. I use to only fly remote helicopters and because where I live now only drones that I will have to start back and even get a plane.
Beautiful guys well done 15 plus years ago I had the 3D Razzle from seagull I flew it as my low wing aleron trainer after a high wing rudder only trainer. It was absolutely beautifully built and flew so well with SC 75 2T would loop on half throttle Awesome product's

Oh, you crazy boys! Just love VQ Models. Their quality is much better than the others. I had opportunity to pick that one up, but passed on it for their Boeing p-26. Can’t wait for the maiden video boys! Get on with it!

Lovely plane , I'm a big fan of seagull models , the build quality is really good. My favourite plane is the seagull models spacewalker ll and with the saito fs62 it sounds amazing, I really fancy the giant scale version, I hope you have many happy hours enjoying the pt19 👍

I like that Seagull uses proper covering instead of that terrible printed vinyl that many other manufacturers are using instead. Seagul keeps coming out with interesting models.
@@elpunto231 well you guys no..it was second or third hand anyway.needed the money for travel funds on vacation.sold it to a great guy.im sure it lives on.that 150 though it had the juice buddy.plenty of power.still needed nose weight.not sure the brand of mine but it was huge.prob have videos of it on here or FB im sure.

I could not find an NGH 30cc but i did find a 35cc and it is heavier and lower horse power than the 30cc DLE. and the DLE is cheaper. Check them out, they are great motors.
VQ warbirds once had a great line of ESM warbirds. I wish someone would get the old molds amd make these warbirds once again especially the FW-190 and the Japanese Aichi Val.

@@brianemery8945 Stops the wood from getting fuel soaked over time and also seals the edges of the solarfilm covering.The firewall and any other areas also is a good idea to fuel proof before any assembly :)

Hobby king in australia is selling plans they have the fairchild pt 19 in a 1.7 mtr wing span but you can have the plans inlarged

i miss mine she crashed some years ago.... we flew her on a Saito FA-91 and she did amazing!!!
This one is assembled and waitng for maiden a few months now. I just cant get Blaž to fly it.
