I read the comments about it having a twist and decided to watch it. I deduced what the twist was going to be but God. The last second got me cold all over and the best is its not even a jumpscare but it freaked me out a lot. You did an amazing job
Damn, the tension in the vid is so dense that it can been cut with the knife. You have talent for that. And the finishing scene is really good planned. It is amazing what a man with a bit of knowleadge can do. Good job Alex !

This was amazing! I love your Spongebob series, but your film making is where it’s at. I’ve watched a lot of your catalogue over the months, and it’s very clear you’ve got a knack for this. Keen to see what else you make!
Everyone seems to think that whole dialogue was the monster, but was it? What if some of it was actually in her head? Like when she’s freaking out and sure that there’s something there, that’s really her, but the monster is the part trying to convince her otherwise (stopping her from calling the cops, telling her there’s nothing behind her, etc)
That's what I love about the versatility of a monster like this. You don't know what's actually in her head and what was actually put there. It's such a genuinely scary and amazing concept!
Omg, I actually loved that plot twist at the end and the buildup to it, Alex Bale you should stop being the spongebob guy and be yourself because these horror shorts are great!
Also, this is golden, you do have a lot of talent for horror, there was no jumpscared, just that feeling of dread, with an original plot and a good and unexpected twist, you can think is a mediocre video until you see that twist, i felt a shiver down my spine at the end

However it doesn’t give you the right to tell him to quit short films if he enjoys it. And for people that’s saying it’s taking him months, why don’t y’all try and buy all sponge on episodes, go through them. Write a long script worth 20-30 mins, Editing high quality. And putting together the lore around sponge. People think it’s easy but it isn’t :/

BROO i really love your shorts and your plots!!!! Like your plots are so great, I can’t wait for your movies in the near future since your kind of films are my favorite genre. Go Alex!
What really scared me was how long the fridge door was left open.
Imagine the electricity wasted!
i kinda feel bad for alex, people only wanna watch the spongebob theory’s leaving his short films to not be recognized
I feel like his promos series is underrated.
I do agree. But in my opinion I think a lot more people would watch both if they weren’t horror films. Now the only reason I say this is because you know spongebob has a lot of kids or young fans. If they find those videos and watch them then look at the channel. they might not like horror films or be scared of them so they won’t watch them. This is just my opinion but I think that makes sense to me.
Yeah...

@@spongeboy864 you’re right and wrong at the same time
really great horror short! got me on the edge of my seat mid way the vid, and the ending was just amazing, looking forward to see more of these
this is really good horror short. keep up, don't let your passion go away
Me: sees Alex bale video.
Yes another spongebob theory.
Alex Bale: Hold my short
It’s funny but sad this man gets millions of views on the theories but barely a few thousand views on his other shii💀🤦🏿♂️
@@blu3sh0tt49 yeah he's really talented his other videos should get more views
@@blu3sh0tt49 F A C T S
@@birdsbirdsandmorebirds6251 and he gets hate on his shorts and people yell at him to make more theories like in his latest theory I cried when he showed all the hate he got *I CRIED*
And this is why I'm still afraid of the dark.
Either turn on the lights if your going down to the fridge or bring a nerf gun

Alex you are a master of filmmaking I’m so thrilled of your work. Also the muse/hmf arg is the best arg I’ve ever seen.
Alex.. what the hell my guy you have a very effective dynamic for giving me some serious chills, and horror movies don’t really affect me anymore, you’re on another level ✌️
Godammit Alex, how do you keep coming up with the most simple yet effective twists that completely destroy me?
Yes but that pfp is art
He is the KING of making heads explode with a sleight of hand
The sound design is fucking awesome Alex 👍
Your videos are incredible and the way you make us look for the storyline is awesome.
I adore your films, every time I watch any of your short films they always hit me in the proper spot that knows how to make me jump. Even where I don’t think there will be any story, BAM, story that has a interesting lore behind it based on the people here(both good, bad, helpful or no). I know I probably will go unnoticed by you but, cheers for the work you make, hear hear.
God, for that whole video I was just like "JUMP SCARE ME ALREADY, DO IT, I CAN TAKE IT"...
I could not take it
Although I found and subbed to you through the SpongeBob videos, I am so glad I did, as this was absolutely amazing. Terrifying. I hope the annoying *sPoNgEbOb NoW* comments don't get to you, this was great. I and many other subs support your decision in filmmaking, as you are quite talented!
Your versatility is amazing, brother. If you ever need an animator, lmk.
0:48 so far I'm loving this! I like how she's thinking to herself rather than shouting it out if you know what I mean.
You were wrong hahaga
I’ll be honest I did come to this channel from a spongebob theory video but I decided to check out your short films and they’re honestly pretty bomb, these deserve more recognition!
As a die hard short horror fan. I literally had goosebumps realizing what was happening. Amazing job
That ending is perfect.
imagine just waking up in the middle of the night and hearing your own voice
She thought it was just her own thoughts
i'm not a fan of horror stuff but i can get behind this. the twist at the end was actually really nice jdhdnd hope you make more stuff like this!
This was amazing! I love your Spongebob series, but your film making is where it’s at. I’ve watched a lot of your catalogue over the months, and it’s very clear you’ve got a knack for this. Keen to see what else you make!
W
Everyone seems to think that whole dialogue was the monster, but was it? What if some of it was actually in her head? Like when she’s freaking out and sure that there’s something there, that’s really her, but the monster is the part trying to convince her otherwise (stopping her from calling the cops, telling her there’s nothing behind her, etc)
That's what I love about the versatility of a monster like this. You don't know what's actually in her head and what was actually put there. It's such a genuinely scary and amazing concept!
Poor girl, that must be really confusing for her
Duuuuuuuuuude I love this! Excellent short! And the acting was fantastic :)
Absolutely disgusting how people are telling him just to stick to spongebob theories.
He will do it if he wants to! You should be happy he posts as much as he do, he posts high quality stuff.
You guys have no care for the person behind the screen making spongebob theories, you only care for the spongebob videos? Absolutely disgusting.
He has feelings too and the rude comments he’s had about his hard work and passion on film is so rude, if you don’t like it then you don’t have to.
Lol the comments were set up
@@RealSpinningRat but still, i feel bad for alex bruh
@@RealSpinningRat yes they were set up, but most of his viewer base actually feel this way.
I came here for spongebob theories and stayed for ingenious film skills and story telling! Superb
i loved the story, the lights and the soundtrack in this short film, i hope you will make more!
i honestly love this short, it was terrifying n i love ur shorts. i don’t understand why people get mad at u for making this short ?? it’s literally amazing n i love the plot twist, it was really creative
i watched this because the new sponge bob theory intrigued but shit bro this is actually pretty frickin cool, its kinda weird how this kinda stuff can get ignored whilst sponge bob videos thrive
For all we know the monster is saying what’s in her head
A thing mimics your thought
*thats bloodily terrifying*
The more I watch these shorts, the more of a fan I become. Great work! My heart was racing. 👏🏽👏🏽
Ending genuinely scared me, not even a surprised fear, it stayed for quite a while after watching the video. If all your horror shorts are this good I found my new favorite horror channel
Why are people hating on this so much? I was on the edge of my seat, this is great!! Keep up the good work and make content you love!!
After watching inside a mind. I realize that all these comments saying just do SpongeBob videos is just part of the over arching story he's doing within his new ARG series. We're apart of the reason why he's doing those videos and that creature at the end of the videos giving him the theories to do videos. Alex hasn't lost his passion. He's just spicing it up in a different way.
Awesome! I love it! I hope you get to do longer form versions of this passion!
Awesome short film as always Alex!
I like this and all your other horror films
Oh dang, nice. Caught a glimpse of this over on Inside a Mind and had to watch the entire thing myself. Oooo, so creepy. Well done.
I've watch all the spongebob conspiracy theories but this is why I subbed. The twist at the end is brilliant.
You're so talented, that ending freaked me out so bad! Keep up the good work!
Oh good hes back on short films. I love the spongebob theories, but I love a good horror short!
