I think the hardest thing for me is knowing when to follow my own opinions on players and stuff vs what the market or others might say. I do agree with y’all that staying tuned in is important even after you start diving into data and making opinions.
It's hard for all of us! Rookie evaluation is an equation with viturally unlimited variables, and we are all constantly improving our processes!
Like the content a lot. Great mix if data and how you deliver the overall assessment of each player...crush in this case haha. Keep this stuff coming ....... thank you!!!!
Thanks Joseph! would love to hear, we would also love to hear any show or community question ideas you would like to hear about!
Also Luke for me is not a player, he 100% a crush 🤣
Gotta love a classic crush. Excitement based on nothing more than surface level expectations!
I think there is some good data here, we are number crushers too 😂
Community Question:
For me I initially leaned on the idea that talent beats everything. However I think recently situation has mattered a ton. Last season JSN goes to a bad landing spot and Rashee Rice goes to the Chiefs. However it can also go against you with the Texans being perceived as the worst team in football which caused a down opinion on Stroud/Dell. It’s tough but I want to lean on talent, especially if the situation is a big surprise in either way.
Love the Response Austin! thanks as always. I hope Marv to the patriots doesn't test us this year with that!
@@justingoleff David would literally die ☠
Gotta give a shoutout to the Rocket Power dyno league!
To me, unexpected draft capital doesn’t affect my impact too much unless it’s big jump. I.e player A is projected middle to back end of the second and gets first round draft capital, especially to a championship contending team. I think the reason why it doesn’t impact me much is because of the Clyde Edwards-Helaire situation. He ruined it for me. Just because a player gets high draft capital, doesn’t mean he’s more talented than the other. Talent wins out to me.
Keep up the good work guys!
Justin wishes he was better in the Rocket Power Dyno League, but hey it was an orphan this offseason so he says prepare for 2025!
@@Dynoconff looking forward to it!
@@SlammonSammon me too! lol
Draft capital i learned last year may be less important in some ways. Pre draft stroud was my guy. But Bryce 1.01 made him jump even tho stroud was literally next pick. Which I stuck to priors and took more stroud. But also if a player we think goes round one goes round 3 nfl is telling us maybe be careful.
A lot of us wish we had stuck to our priors on Stroud! David and JP did pretty consistently though!
