- Hailing from the talented fam of CDR Sessions in London, Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points is just one of the most promising producers to be watched out for this year.
After sharing his various re-edits online (which were spinned by the likes of Benji B, Gilles Peterson and Domu), his retake of Real 2 Reels 'Love Me Like This' was eventually signed to EgLO/ R2 Records and was released on a limited 7" (February '09).

What a mix , smooth given the feels
You all probably knew already. The original track is from 1983. The artist is Real to Reel- Love me like this. I'm not stuck in the past but I feel it's important to recognize the original artist who composed the track from nothing. They also had to learn how to play real instruments. The producer was Leon Sylvers lll who also worked with Shalamar.
I also think that it's great that guys like Floating Points are giving classic music a second life.
