Thank you Mr. Giant for another reaction! ❤ Our folklore and mythology is very rich, some of the ones listed here where mostly made popular by prominent Romanian writers.
There is a very famous franchise of video games called Resident Evil. The latest one called “RE: VIIlage”, is set in Romania, though the game only says Eastern Europe which is a shame really. The game nailed everything about Romania; from the atmosphere of a Romanian traditional village, the architecture, the food that you can craft is traditional and to bring this to the theme of the video, the enemies that you fight in the game are literally taken from our mythology and folklore such as Uriași/Giants, Lycans or Moroi which is super cool! Romania often doesn’t get the spotlight when it comes to games or movies so it’s amazing to see a popular game set in such a perfect place! 😊
Have a blessed day , enjoy ur videos ! also i tend to think at least a few are true just because in Romania in last 70 years we kept finding petrified giants that look like sculpture in some caves , also on Rosia Montana mining sessions were found 10m --32ft tall human skeletons

"ZMEU" is realy e very interesting Creature. It appears in the poems of Romanian poets from the years 1700-1850 and is described exactly like a Dragon seen in movies in the 1950s.

Dacians used to have bear as evil and the wolf was protector
Same in slavic and nordic mitology where main god has 2 wolf sisters that in Serbia transformed in to saints

Exactly, very important to note how both the dacians and modern romanians saw wolves as protectors mostly. There is even a saying that probably all romanian kids know "the wolf is the doctor of the forest" (because he gets rid of all decaying corpses before they can spread diseases to the forest or the rivers, and therefore to the humans). Dacians also had a whole cult around the wolves, their own identity being one with the wolves.
