@@tedgreatinbedchesney9916 yeah. Also I see it as a good way for the dogs. Maybe they bark, but Lee let's them calm down, stop barking and then he does the whole introduction. I find it fascinating how all the dogs can pick up on your focus and your energy. The moment your concern faded, all the dogs relaxed and just became their mellow selves. Beautiful.
I just started to cry today in the grocery store because I miss Pom-Poms. She was/is such a light for all of us and thanks to you I could know her........
I am always amazed how the pack assimilates new dogs: As if they understand the new members are in desperate need of belonging and can communicate with them. Bless you, Lee, for also understanding and knowing how your pack works. I know you’ve worked hard at getting them to be this way. I honestly don’t think there are many people who have that ability. And even less that have put it to such a good use.
I know. Very nice comment mimzy c. 👍 I feel these introduction videos would go a long way in showing little kids how to accept a new member to the class. I remember grade school and how mean the class always was to "the new kid". I always felt so sorry for the newbies & went out of my way to befriend them. For some reason, I view the pack as a bunch of orphaned children who've found a home; all learning what family & community is all about.
