I'm not a soap maker, but I watch your videos for visual-ASMR, and your commentary always puts a smile on my face! Beautiful soap and love the slightly translucent quality of the dark parts and the delicious-looking creamy white; my husband walked in while I was watching this and said, "Soap? This is dangerous, I'd want to eat it!" 😂
Hi Ellen, wishes from Rome/ Italy and thank you very much for your video. I am a soap maker only for hobby because unfortunately in Italy is banned to sell handmade.soaps😢 Sorry for my bad english
Hi Ellen! I’m a new soap maker. You and some others have really inspired me to go on this journey and I appreciate all the videos you create. Your soaps are wonderful ✨
You look so pretty and ready to make your video. Most soap maker youtubers look like they rolled put of bed and started recording. Your attention to detail is definitely acknowledged. New fan!
I am a coffee drinker and I love this soap,it looks like a nice piece of coffee and walnut cake to have with the coffee ☕ absolutely love it .Take care xx
Ohh I love the creamy swirls and dollops! I've made a couple of batches of coffee soap that I love - I used brewed grounds and coffee along with my goats' milk, (super scrubby because it's regular drip-coffee-grind not espresso-grind, I love a scrubby soap after doing farm work all day!) - but I never thought of adding cacao powder, I'd like to try that next time, I love that dark color! I'd also like to try the cream swirls and dollops on top, so pretty! Thank you Ellen for another great video and inspiration! :)
Am I odd for saying that I get a little excited as I see the soap shreds bucket get more full? I love your rebatch videos, they're so fun and interesting.
I love Coffee. We grind ours. I have to have Cream. I can't take straight black. Hubby loves his black. I am Awkward at coffee shops. Especially when I feel rushed. Beautiful swirls. I absolutely am addicted to coffee smells! 😋 Cheers & Blessings👍🤗
So stinking cute! Love the creamy dollops 😋 1st cup of coffee in the morning has to be black 2nd cup of coffee I put a little bit of creamer in it:) I just bought peppermint mocha creamer…oh delish!!
Love it! Does the fragrance you used have a sweet smell? I’m looking for a black coffee fragrance that is not sweet smelling! Thanks, Ellen! Keep ‘em coming!!!
Hi Ellen, i just adore your videos. Thank you for being so generous with your time and recipes. Question for you....do you use goat milk powder that you add to water or fresh goat milk? If you use the powder, can you share the ratio of goat milk powder to water? I can't find that information. Many thanks!
Hello Ellen, this is Esther from The Netherlands. What an amazing beautiful products you make! I just can’t stop watching your videos and I get so inspired!!! Thank you. I have one question. I am wondering if and if so, how do you wrap your soap? I would like to use a sleeve or something, but it is hard to find a good solution. Do you have any ideas?
I use a couple of different kinds of wrap for my bars, depending on the design. I shrink wrap my more "showy" bars and use kraft paper for the simpler bars, I also use soap boxes from WSP sometimes.
This looks fantastic! I have used the organic Cacao powder in soap, and it is magnificent, leaving behind just a hint of its scent, and the colour is beautiful. Thanks again for a great video 💜
Hi Ellen, One thing I want to confess and tell you is from your videos I really learned a lot about soap making. You're videos inspired me a lot. Thank you so much I've a question, I know coffee water and milk is water discounted, but today you added coffee ground and water to one part of the soap batter after dividing, how do you calculate the coffee water? Cos it was added after dividing.
Good question! I do such a steep water discount, that adding that small amount of liquid to a portion is still well within the acceptable volume of water😉
Hello Ellen: I’m a new soap maker: I love your style and videos: I like your method of keeping the titanium dioxide diluted in a bottle: Do you keep the bottle in the refrigerator after each use or room temperature?
Hi Ellen, love your work you are an inspiration ❤️ Would you please explain your video setup, how it's mounted and maybe add some links. I'm really struggling with what to purchase. Thank you xx
So pretty! I love my coffee but I need my flavored creamers. I’m not much of a take-out coffee drinker but sometimes I just need a venti mocha latte breve from Starbucks. Try it sometime.
Hmm. Question about coffee. I’ve watched a video where the person used iced coffee and mixed it w lye (to avoid overheating) but I see you just add coffee to oil. Does this cause any difference? I’d rather not need to do the extra icing of the coffee step. Thx! And love your earrings!
Hi. Helen u always share the recipe. I just want to know about discounting. Especially u made a coffee solution, water taken from a batch if yes how much??
Love this! Thank you. Also, you look GORGEOUS today. Not that you don’t always, but your hair and jewellery and makeup are FABULOUS. I’m going to make these TODAY. Can I ask where I could get a stamp like yours?
Hello Ellen just curious ..I know everyone has different taste buds for different types of coffee strengths etc but I was considering in the near future growing some maybe Arabica bean plants down here in Arizona .. curious what your son would recommend growing? I can taste the smell of hazelnut coffee now lol thank you!

If I'm not going to be using it all up in a few days, I'll add a touch of preservative so it's shelf stable.

When i take milk have i to reduce it from the lye?
The milk amount is part of the liquid volume, it doesn't change the lye ratio.
