I feel like someone if your field of work should have therapy regularly. What you do can be very stressful and has never really been done before our generation. No one really knows the consequences mentally of this type of work. Constantly looking at yourself, criticizing yourself because you are your work. Your mind is the most important thing you will every have, take care of it constantly and as much as possible, Jayde. We love you!
Absolutely; it definitely cannot hurt at all. Therapy is life enhancing, especially for vloggers, models, those in the public eye, heck, anyone, keeps you grounded. Try a one day 'detox' from public stuff here and there too. Very cool to do so; although hard when you have a family to raise and nurture!

The irony about your consideration for surgery is that most people have had alterations to look like you... Whether it be skin enhancements, nose reconstruction etc... You're so gorgeous and I know it's hard sometimes to see beauty in our own selves, but if only we would step outside ourselves for a moment we'd find ourselves beautiful too... At the end of the day, do what makes 'YOU' happy... Find motivation in things that bring you joy..... And remember, it is ok to be in a funk... There's no timeline to not feeling yourself... Just like you pick and choose which photos you post, so do other women. Comparing yourself to what other people choose to show will literally make you lose your mind. I think it is a common thing for women to do this but as long as you remind yourself who YOU are you will get out of this funk. Beauty isnt everything. You're beautiful already but more than just your looks is what makes you beautiful. Talking to yourself nicely is also helpful. Social media is sooo hard. When you're a professional social media personality, social media is even more toxic, even though it's an honour to get paid to do it. I used to love Instagram, but now that I'm an "instagrammer', I sometimes really hate social media. It is so toxic when you are constantly on it. And as an influencer, you have to constantly be on it! I get where you're coming from, and I'm not even a big social media person like you are! Just know we are here to support you no matter what! And take breaks if you need it, you owe us nothing xx

Some people think that if you are "complaining", you are ungrateful. Sometimes it's true, sometimes it's not. Everyone has problems, insecurities, worries, or bad days in general. And the fact that you just want to talk about it doesn't mean that you don't appreciate your friends, your family, or your life. It just means that you are HUMAN and need to vent. I understand that having a job like this can be hard sometimes (even if you are grateful and love it). I think that we all compared ourselves to somebody else at some point. Just because you’re successful and have money and a house and food etc it doesn’t mean you can’t feel down and upset. Money doesn’t equal happiness. You are well within your rights to get emotional, never feel like you can’t. We are the first batch of generations to grow up staring at ourselves my grandpa used to say “eyes look out to see they aren’t pointed at us because we’d spend our lives judging ourselves instead of enjoying the world.” Ik that it is hard to be a woman, a black woman, and a black woman under the microscope of social media, but despite what the world says a woman’s worth should not be decided by her looks. You’re gorgeous but even if you weren’t it shouldn’t matter, you’re successful, have a life surrounded by those that love you, and obviously intelligent to have created a platform for yourself. Jayde, it's crazy because I've been feeling exactly this way, thank you for being so open. I had a wave of confidence to the point that everyone was even commenting on it but rn my confidence is just rock bottom. I know my confidence will peak again tho. I find myself overanlayisng my appearance too, I second guess my face and body every time I look in the mirror and don't even bother taking selfies anymore. I used to really feel myself but my validation was based on what others were saying. I know for a fact this is all anxiety related. We are exactly how we perceive ourselves, I remember feeling prettiest years ago when I didn't care what people thought and thus, I wasn't feeling myself based on validation from others but from within myself. Please contact a counsellor, it will really help. I know you may find it hard to believe based on what you're saying rn, but you are beautiful and many would kill to look like you. Please don't go down the facial surgery/fillers route, it could potentially ruin your face. Social media is a curse, let's embrace our individuality

And just like you look at other women on social media and think about how perfect they look, Ive felt those same things looking at some of your pictures. We receive are blessing, I also have a little girl and she is my whole world, I eat every day and have a roof over my head. However I still feel a slight unhappiness and overwhelming worry of failure that cover me from time to time. Honestly taking time away from the virtual world really does help. I've been following you since you were 19 so i guess i can say that i've seen you grow and go through different phases in life and that's why i love listening to your honest chit chats about life because even tho we may not have the same problems, i can still relate to you in many ways and your talks are very uplifting to me. It's crazy to me how you said that you look at other people on the internet and think they're perfect and how it makes you insecure because to me, you are one of those "perfect" women who make me wish i looked like them. I just wanna say no matter what you wanna get done, make sure you're doing it for the right reason. This sounds so cheesy but real comfort and confidence comes from within, you can't get surgery done and expect to feel confident and satisfied afterwards. As long as you don't know how to love yourself no surgery will change that feeling. And another thing is, if you have a creative block go explore and get inspired. I know you said that you don't wanna look at what other people are doing but i don‘t think it's a bad thing to get inspired. Look at what's trending, what type of videos are doing really good atm, you can then put your own spin on it. The irony about your consideration for surgery is that most people have had alterations to look like you... Whether it be skin enhancements, nose reconstruction etc... You're so gorgeous and I know it's hard sometimes to see beauty in our own selves, but if only we would step outside ourselves for a moment we'd find ourselves beautiful too... At the end of the day, do what makes 'YOU' happy... Find motivation in things that bring you joy..... And remember, it is ok to be in a funk... There's no timeline to not feeling yourself... I think it is a common thing for women to do this but as long as you remind yourself who YOU are you will get out of this funk. Beauty isnt everything. You're beautiful already but more than just your looks is what makes you beautiful. Talking to yourself nicely is also helpful. Social media is sooo hard. When you're a professional social media personality, social media is even more toxic, even though it's an honour to get paid to do it. I used to love Instagram, but now that I'm an "instagrammer', I sometimes really hate social media. It is so toxic when you are constantly on it. And as an influencer, you have to constantly be on it! I get where you're coming from, and I'm not even a big social media person like you are! Just know we are here to support you no matter what! And take breaks if you need it, you owe us nothing xx

Some people think that if you are "complaining", you are ungrateful. Sometimes it's true, sometimes it's not. Everyone has problems, insecurities, worries, or bad days in general. And the fact that you just want to talk about it doesn't mean that you don't appreciate your friends, your family, or your life. It just means that you are HUMAN and need to vent.
I understand that having a job like this can be hard sometimes (even if you are grateful and love it). I think that we all compared ourselves to somebody else at some point. But we have to realize that all these girls that look perfect on social media sometimes are a mess in real life. And some of them are really as beautiful as they look. Just because you’re successful and have money and a house and food etc it doesn’t mean you can’t feel down and upset. Money doesn’t equal happiness. You are well within your rights to get emotional, never feel like you can’t. I’ve watched you since the beginning and I love the fact you’re so open and up front about everything you’ve faced and experience and I appreciate how difficult it can be to pick yourself up when you’re feeling low and take photos and videos. We are the first batch of generations to grow up staring at ourselves my grandpa used to say “eyes look out to see they aren’t pointed at us because we’d spend our lives judging ourselves instead of enjoying the world.” Ik that it is hard to be a woman, a black woman, and a black woman under the microscope of social media, but despite what the world says a woman’s worth should not be decided by her looks. You’re gorgeous but even if you weren’t it shouldn’t matter, you’re successful, have a life surrounded by those that love you, and obviously intelligent to have created a platform for yourself. Jayde, it's crazy because I've been feeling exactly this way, thank you for being so open. I had a wave of confidence to the point that everyone was even commenting on it but rn my confidence is just rock bottom. I know my confidence will peak again tho. I find myself overanlayisng my appearance too, I second guess my face and body every time I look in the mirror and don't even bother taking selfies anymore. I used to really feel myself but my validation was based on what others were saying. I know for a fact this is all anxiety related. We are exactly how we perceive ourselves, I remember feeling prettiest years ago when I didn't care what people thought and thus, I wasn't feeling myself based on validation from others but from within myself. Please contact a counsellor, it will really help. I know you may find it hard to believe based on what you're saying rn, but you are beautiful and many would kill to look like you. Please don't go down the facial surgery/fillers route, it could potentially ruin your face. Social media is a curse, let's embrace our individuality

There will be times where you don’t feel as great within yourself but even when you don’t feel creative, like you said, no one is you!! Only you can do what you’re doing and such a good job of it! Even if you feel like a makeup look, for example isn’t that creative, keep going with it and develop from there and adapt the ways to make you feel more confident with it. We receive are blessing, I also have a little girl and she is my whole world, I eat every day and have a roof over my head. However I still feel a slight unhappiness and overwhelming worry of failure that cover me from time to time. Honestly taking time away from the virtual world really does help. I've been following you since you were 19 so i guess i can say that i've seen you grow and go through different phases in life and that's why i love listening to your honest chit chats about life because even tho we may not have the same problems, i can still relate to you in many ways and your talks are very uplifting to me.
It's crazy to me how you said that you look at other people on the internet and think they're perfect and how it makes you insecure because to me, you are one of those "perfect" women who make me wish i looked like them.
I just wanna say no matter what you wanna get done, make sure you're doing it for the right reason. This sounds so cheesy but real comfort and confidence comes from within, you can't get surgery done and expect to feel confident and satisfied afterwards. As long as you don't know how to love yourself no surgery will change that feeling.
And another thing is, if you have a creative block go explore and get inspired. I know you said that you don't wanna look at what other people are doing but i don‘t think it's a bad thing to get inspired. Look at what's trending, what type of videos are doing really good atm, you can then put your own spin on it. Even tho you're doing good, i'm sure you wanna expand your following and the best way to do that is following the trends and trying to put something new out in that same category.

I too feel the way you do A LOT of times about how I feel about my looks so I completely understand. Society can depict an idealism of “perfection” but we are all beautiful & made just perfect. Our imperfections are what make us each beautiful. Hang in there Jayde, God sees your cries and hears your struggles. You will be blessed even more again soon. I know this is old but please your so beautiful already literally not even saying that genuinely your so beautiful you don't need any filters or what not you stick out because your so naturally beautiful. When I feel down I pray it really helps!
