shooting isn't easier, players are just better at shooting now. The goal is still ten feet high and three pointers are just as far away as back then. Just the overall league style and physicality due to rules has changed. You have to play within the rules that your era allows and its not fair to be punished for it. Players adapt regardless

Even pat riley called 3 pointers a clown shot, other coaches called it a gimmick , etc. Because it wasnt particularly encouraged, you had your 3pt specialists, and then you had your slashers. Yes the league had bird, glenn rice, mark price, and others, but even they wouldnt attempt more than maybe 3 a game because of the leagues mentality then. Most ppl who could shoot couldnt drive the ball, and those who could drive typically couldnt shoot. In todays NBA, most players can do BOTH! Its just evolution man, its not that shots were harder, its just the skill and rules changing that makes it look easier now. By sheer unexpectedness, getting off a 3 back then (unless youre a known marksman ie reggie) wouldve been easier than now where defenses expect it.

I was fortunate enough to inherit my grandfather's SEASON TICKET FOR THE BULLS AND BLACKHAWKS when he passed. I go back to the days of Bob Love, Chet Walker. Then came MJ, Pippen, Grant, Harper, Paxson Rodman, Tony K. All the pieces fell into place. My Grandpa said "God didn't rest on the 7th day, he created Michael Jordan". Thank you to all the Bulls during their dynasty years, it took all of you to make it work. And the coaching staff were geniuses.
