I have around 20 + coursera certifications IBM and AWS Badges for devops. Most of them were theory based and i did them so i have good understanding of things and also i can showcase on my CV now i am about to jump into projects ( as i had already decided ) and this video came on my feed ❤ What a perfect timing

Great content! I am a newbie trying to break into this crazy cloud environment and I am often discouraged by the volatile employment (it's either going really well or it's super tough to get a tech job). As a non-tech person trying to break into tech, videos like this give me some hope! My question with these projects is, obviously it costs money to do these projects. How do I showcase a portfolio using these resources? Do I stop EC2 instances indefinitely until an employer asks to see my projects or do I document using screencaps on how I approach these projects? Keeping these projects "alive" is going to cost some money.
You don't need to keep the projects running at all time :) The best way to do this is to document your journey, you can post about your progress on LinkedIn regularly so if a recruiter looks at your LinkedIn profile they can see all the projects you've done. The best way to showcase your projects though is to make sure they are written well on your resume and also you need to learn how to talk about them confidently I not only go over how to do all these projects in my program at www.cloudcareermentor.com but I also show you how to write them on your resume and how to Discuss them in interviews I hope my response has been helpful :)
Thank you for the video. where should i get information to do project 5, 6, 7 .... where do we learn how to configure this and CI/CD projects ? do you have a master class we can have access to ?
These all sound good. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm super green but it's good to have some ideas. I'm going to scour the internet to look for projects based on the role I wish to get once I am certified. That coupled with other projects will show versatility and I think that would be a good advantage.
hello thank you for your guide. Can you please confirm if any of this project can be done in free Tier version of AWS. Like without using money to buy additional service? Thank you

Hey, May i know how can i add these projects in my resume? like do i need to host these project (which would cost me) or i have to write blog or just adding in resume and explaining it to the recruiter when asked. I can do all these projects but how will i show?
Hey when you built a project on AWS remember you can have the private IP address. If you wanted to add a section on your resume that has projects you could post the private IP address on the resume so they can click on the IP address and it will take them to your project you created.
The important thing is to have them on your resume and know how to talk about them in your interview. Once you complete each project your can delete them. The aim is to get the project experience so you can talk about it on your resume and in interviews

Hello. Nice work. Are these programs recorded or instructor led? How long does it take to complete? Is this program valuable for people who are from Non-IT?
Thanks! The program is on-demand courses so you can get started straight away! I designed the program to make it really easy to build up the right skills you need to be successful in the cloud industry. You begin by learning the foundations and basic commands of cloud technologies like Linux, AWS, Terraform, Git Python, CICD, etc. then once you have the basics down, we then move on to the high quality projects to build on the skills you have just learnt. This approach provides a structured way of learning and makes you understand the technologies better. Because the focus is helping you break into the cloud industry, I also created modules on how to write your resume in a way that is attractive to employers and show you how to write all your projects in the resume. I also created modules on how to interview effectively to impress hiring managers as a lot of people struggle with this. I am very active in this community and usually respond quickly because I want all of my students to be successful. So don’t worry, you will be well supported if you need help. As part of the program, you will also get access to a monthly group coaching call where I check in with you and answer any questions you might have, it is also an opportunity for you to share your progress and get to know me and the other students.
