In conversation with Mr. Glyn Hughes

Please go through a heart to heart conversation of Mr. Glyn Hughes, Director General, The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) covered by Stat Times during ACFI Conclave 2023.
He shared that one of the key elements to achieve 10 Mn MT tons of Air Cargo by 2030-31 is our government's support, as it will be easy to galvanize the industry, the manufacturers, etc. He also shared that as part of the conclave the focus was on issues and requirements to fuel that growth when production increases.
The energy and way of working of India excites Mr. Huges and he said that ACFI plays a huge role on behalf of all stakeholders for voicing their concerns to the government.
India holds a special place for TIACA as per Mr. Hughes, as it has huge potential for business, so it's important that we hear the issues here and bring global perspectives.
He also stated that India as an economy offers a number of fantastic opportunities through creation of trans-shipment hubs and connecting different locations here to the world. According to him another advantage that India has is its ability to become a global production megapower.
Lastly, he also said that Government support, educated workforce, entrepreneurial spirit, and its strategic geographical location are the key ingredients to steer the growth of India.
