Nenna says the infected hippo is disgusting right after she was just fangirling over the infected moose. -_- Also the memorial thing at the end. Tell me Alexander doesn't look like Doc.

And lo, since I've enjoyed Nenna's videos so much, I spent a literal 4 hours and a half writing this story of my take on ZOOCHOSIS! This legit might be the longest story I have ever wrote, so I will be astronomically flabbergasted if you don't fall unconscious by the time you are at least half way through! Also a little warning, prepare yourself before you press read more, this is my longest story and my most proudest, I expect lots of comments below saying, IM NOT GOING TO READ ALL THAT, but I came prepared this time with a lot more than I usually bring to the table and this time I had to shorten it because RUclips didn't allow me to post something that big lmao XD - *In the quiet village of Ichinose, nestled among rolling hills and dense forests, there existed a legend as old as the earth itself. For generations, the Miyama family carried the weight of an ancient curse, a dark legacy tied to the land they called home. Every hundred years, the ground beneath the family’s ancestral mansion would tremble, and from the depths would emerge a monstrous silkworm, born of black magic, to devour and destroy. Nenna Miyama had never believed in the curse. She scoffed at her grandmother’s tales, brushing them aside as bedtime stories meant to keep children in line. But the past few weeks had tested her skepticism. Livestock had begun to disappear, crops withered overnight, and at night, strange screeches echoed through the village, chilling her to the bone. Despite her dismissive attitude toward the curse, Nenna couldn't shake the sense of foreboding that seemed to hang in the air like a shroud. Then came the day when her grandmother, the last living elder of the Miyama line, summoned her to the ancient family mansion. The old woman, frail and weathered like the gnarled roots of the forest, handed her a faded scroll. The ink was nearly worn away from the parchment, but the story it told was unmistakable-an account of the monstrous creature that would rise once more, a horror that only a Miyama could face. “It is time,” her grandmother whispered, her voice heavy with the weight of a thousand sorrows. “The curse has awakened, and you must fulfill your destiny, Nenna.” Armed with a spear that had been passed down through generations, Nenna left the house, her heart pounding with uncertainty. She wasn’t ready for this, didn’t even believe in it until the signs became too blatant to ignore. Still, duty called. She spent the afternoon in the woods near the mansion, trying to steady her nerves as she practiced her stances with the spear. She had never been much of a fighter, and the clumsiness of her movements showed. During one awkward lunge, her spear caught on a low-hanging branch, jerking her off balance. As she fell, the sharp edge of the spear scraped against her forearm, leaving a deep gash. Blood trickled from the wound, staining her sleeve. Cursing under her breath, she wrapped a cloth around the cut, too stubborn to stop despite the searing pain. She had a fight to prepare for, after all. Nightfall came swiftly, and with it, the earth began to tremble. Nenna stood in the courtyard of the mansion, its ancient stones cracked and broken by centuries of neglect. The wind had picked up, howling through the skeletal trees, the sky a blanket of inky black save for the pale sliver of the moon. Suddenly, with a violent shudder, the ground split open, and from the depths emerged the creature-an abomination of colossal size, its pale, writhing body slick with a viscous sheen. The silkworm, born from dark sorcery, twisted up into the night air, its hollow, soulless eyes locking onto Nenna. With a screech that rattled the bones of the earth itself, the beast lunged. Nenna barely had time to react as the creature’s massive body surged toward her. She rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the razor-sharp teeth that snapped shut mere inches from where she had stood. The ground cracked and groaned beneath the silkworm’s weight as it whipped its body around, its movements unnervingly fast for something so large. Nenna ran toward the grove of trees on the edge of the courtyard, ducking and weaving between trunks as the silkworm gave chase, uprooting trees and shattering boulders with the sheer force of its thrashing. Her breath came in ragged gasps as she darted behind a boulder, her arm throbbing from the earlier wound. Blood soaked through the makeshift bandage, the pain sharp and relentless, but she had no time to tend to it now. The creature was relentless, its foul stench filling the air as it screeched in frustration, unable to catch her among the trees. For a moment, Nenna thought she might have an opening. She gripped her spear tightly, waited until the silkworm lunged again, and with all her strength, she hurled the weapon toward its eye. The spear found its mark, burying deep into the creature’s soft tissue. A deafening wail erupted from the silkworm as it recoiled, thrashing wildly in agony. Trees toppled like matchsticks under its furious convulsions, the ground splitting beneath its weight. Nenna was thrown off her feet by the force of its movements, landing hard on her back. She struggled to catch her breath, her body battered and bruised, but she had drawn first blood. The beast was wounded. But the victory was short-lived. The silkworm, despite its injury, was far from defeated. With terrifying speed, it whipped its head around, its barbed tail lashing out. Nenna barely saw it coming. The tail slammed into her with the force of a battering ram, striking her square in the abdomen and sending her flying backward. She crashed into the courtyard wall with a sickening thud, the impact knocking the wind from her lungs. Her vision blurred as white-hot pain tore through her body. Gasping, she looked down to see blood gushing from a jagged wound in her stomach. The pain was excruciating, and for a moment, she thought she might black out. Her hand instinctively pressed against the gash, but it did little to stop the flow of blood. She was losing strength fast. The silkworm, sensing her weakness, slithered closer, its massive body coiling around her, ready to strike the final blow. Nenna’s mind raced as she lay there, too weak to stand, her vision darkening at the edges. Was this how it ended? Was she destined to fail, just as her ancestors had before her? But deep within her, something stirred-something fierce and unyielding. This was not the end. With a final surge of strength, Nenna rolled to the side just as the silkworm lunged. The creature’s teeth snapped shut on empty air, and before it could react, Nenna grabbed the broken shaft of her spear and leapt toward its open maw. She plunged the weapon deep into the roof of its mouth, driving it upward with all her might. The spear pierced through the soft flesh, embedding itself in the silkworm’s brain. The creature screeched, a sound so loud and shrill that it made Nenna’s head spin, but she held firm, pushing the spear deeper until the beast’s thrashing began to slow. Finally, with a last, violent spasm, the silkworm collapsed. Its massive body convulsed once more before going still, blood oozing from its gaping maw. Nenna fell to her knees, her body trembling, barely able to hold herself up. She stared at the creature’s lifeless form, her breath coming in ragged gasps. The once-feared monster lay dead at her feet. The curse was broken. But as the night grew quiet once more, and the silkworm’s body began to sink back into the earth, Nenna knew her fight was far from over. The wound in her abdomen throbbed painfully, her vision growing darker by the second. She collapsed onto the blood-soaked ground, staring up at the sky as the stars blinked in and out of focus. Nenna fell to her knees, her body trembling, barely able to hold herself up. She stared at the creature’s lifeless form, her breath coming in ragged gasps. The once-feared monster lay dead at her feet. The curse was broken. Exhausted and drenched in both her own blood and the silkworm's dark ichor, Nenna allowed herself a moment to breathe. The wound in her stomach was severe, but she wasn't finished yet. She had won the battle, defeated the beast that had haunted her family for centuries, but the journey back to the village would be long. Staggering to her feet, Nenna cast one last glance at the creature’s body sinking into the earth, a final sign that the curse had been laid to rest. She wiped her brow, her body heavy with exhaustion, but she knew she had to make it back. With the remnants of the spear acting as a makeshift crutch, she limped toward the village, her mind heavy with the thought of healing and rest. As dawn broke over the horizon, the first rays of light touched the village, and Nenna collapsed at the gates. She had survived. Victory was hers, and so was the future of her family. But one thing was clear-this was the end of the curse, but it was only the beginning of her new life* .
