On larger systems, the Orbitrol valve doesn't provide enough flow to operate the steering cylinders directly. Instead, it provides pilot pressure to a Steering Amplifier valve, which brings in a much larger volume of flow. Inside the Steering Amplifier, you'll find something known as a Priority Valve. If you've never seen one of these before, this video should really help you understand how a lot of advanced behaviour in hydraulic systems can be created by relatively simple components.
We've created a huge library of Hydraulic and Electrical learning media, and for just $249USD, you can buy EVERYTHING on our site - all the interactive simulations, step-by-step lessons, reference guides, videos, you name it. Get started for free right here: www.lunchboxsessions.com/explore
As always, thanks for watching!
amazing once again!
awesome! Thanks
Thank you. Accumulator charge rates! Ive seen them called out to be charged all over the map. Please go over this. Jim.
Please make video on CVT hydraulic control
Please make a video on priority valve
Can you make the video about hydraulic of the marine gearbox and hydraulic steering on the ship?
Not correct point if turning wheel units. If you change the point to the proper position the side left and right chould be changed. The link between lefr and right whills did not move in yours scheme.
What is causing low pressure in the yellow lines when the steering is in neutral because the yellow line is feed rite from the pump where it Y's off. So I'm just curious where it's getting the pressure drop from. Thank you
Any update on the next video?
Hello. Which software are you using to perfom those animations? Big fan of your content!
v nice
سلام ودرود وبسیار تشکر ..مهندس گرامی در صورت امکان زیرنویس بزبان فارسی هم زحمت بکشین..ممنون وهزاران 👍....👍
