Now it’s all polished up, (and full of fuel 👌) it seems to be perfect. It might be an interesting call to make 😎👍
@Mark Sweetman The sad thing is, they always show up on technical type channels for some reason in the same way. Most of them seem to either consider themselves experts in automotive engineering (in an unwarranted manner) or else just enjoy being contrary. It's always sad when people try to spoil something genuinely positive and constructive.

True story: Back in the early 90s whilst waiting to do a changeover at Brixton garage on the 159 route (RML) a little old lady came up to the Inspector and said, sheepishly... "excuse me... but I think the driver in that bus is doing naughty things in the cab..." The inspector replied, "No madam, he's just putting his seat up!" For those of you that don't get it, the handle for winding your seat up or down resides between your legs. So, from an outside perspective, the little old lady definitively thought the driver was doing something other than winding his seat up or down as the motion looked decisively the same. That was 30 years and I'll never forget it lol 😂.

Fabulous as always!
Thank you Cheers!

Another great episode pete.the bus is looking great.you must be an expert at refilling that spraygun by now.that bus is a huge thing to paint.lookin forward to the next episode.
Glad you enjoyed it, and yes getting good at it haha
So! After a ship load of ether , it fired up, sensational!
A ship load indeed!!
Used to watch this kind of thing every day when I worked at Aldenham and Chiswick bus works
👍
That is a mammoth preparation and painting task. Other painters I’ve seen, use water on the floor to help keep dust away from the paint finish. Good to see you’re keeping these old buses on the road. That Green Goddess looks pretty smart as well.
Thanks for your support
Love the go go juice, I think every man has a can.Canada
Hell yeah, I’m sure I have some left somewhere, want a sip? 😂👍
@@PeteAndHisBus Pete, in my 40yrs of service in the RCN I truly think with all the drinking I did with the RN when posted to them, that we drank it once in engineering.. At least something tasted like it. Take care.
Same as a comment below, saw a random you tube recommendation, binged watched the lot.
Nice to see this bus that came from south croydon, which is nearby to me, is getting some love.
Hats off, the start looked fun to do but the filling and sanding does not. Look forward to seeing the interior work continue. I know you've gutted the seats already and your plans. Think it will look cool if you can preserve some of the ads to display or if not, cover them with removeable panels.
Great memories as a kid on these types of buses, lots of nostalgia.
Thanks for watching! I’m unsure what to do with the ads at this point.
Hope you get the bus out earning its keep soon. Well done 👍
Cheers bud, appreciate you're support!
