Ngl, only after 7 months have I realised that if you pay attention, some of the background instruments almost form a heartbeat. It's rather obvious in phase 3 and I think it's a perfect representation of the tension the encounter is supposed to make you feel at that point. Bungie's music never fails to amaze me.
I wouldn’t say it’s super simple, it’s straightforward but the actual execution required is very tricky. edit: you do have a point though. Easy to overcomplicate.

I love the parts where savathuns theme creeps it’s way into the song a little bit at a few points. It’s like rhulk is savathuns equal, which makes sense because he is the first disciple of the witness, and savathun is the first (I’m just kinda pulling this idea out) disciple of the traveler. Super cool.
@@ShadowXaenen I mean, exhibition literally means to show off or display, of which this ties into Rhulk being a collector with various objects of power. Plus, it puts the mechanics together in a way that makes it feel new
someone in my day 1 group had to go and we were at the last boss for a really long time, we lfg'd some random dude once he left and cleared with him first try i was never so amazed
Just realized but the clicking noises from here on out in the ost kind of reminds me of gears clicking such as when rhulk tells us at the end of the encounter
And if not that, it’s darkness related mechanics (pervading darkness) or like the vault of glass the similar mechanic which require the aegis to be used.
@@aeosic the confusion comes from the fact that the Aegis is pure light, Kabr’s light manifest to be specific. So how tf did it end up in a drowned pyramid in Sav’s throne world?

People overcomplicate such a simple encounter. Probably in my top end of favourites.

Raids' require players to do certain mechanics, everyone just wants to do add clear, simplicity is not issue it's willingness.

My team gave up at this part, it was about 8am the next day we had been at it for like 20 hrs or something and this music was making me sick
