Beautiful truck! Very inspiring. I just bought a 1987 GMC R1500, 305 TBI, already lowered a bit, Retrosound radio and a boat load of speakers, and your truck gives me a lot of ideas. Thanks for the video!!!
Really nice truck, and touching story. I have stage IV cancer, and have my ‘87 that I am saving to do with my son. If we don’t get to do it together, I hope he does a great job like you have.
last year i got a 79 chevy 4x4 short box cheyenne full option truck with 35,000 miles on it with the 400 sbc and 400 turbo 100% stock runs and drives like new got it free but also have a lot of project trucks right now building a 68 chevy with a stroke 454 02xx 400 r turbo have 2000 in the build so far only things left is final paint and finish the interior have dash dun and a new wood bed but got a new tailgate. the dash came out really nice full factory gauges. i really like the build looks good needs the full trim. i am also building a 70 ford high boy dana 60/80 lockers 390 4 speed its a very clean truck with tool box on side plus i have most of the parts for it only have 250 bucks in it plus a 70 ford motor home for parts
Great job. This definitely means a lot to you. I’m doing the same to my Daddy’s truck. He purchased a 1972 Chevy C-10 Long bed. I’m restoring it to honor him, just as you’re honoring your father.
Great truck ! I have my Dad's old C10 too, not near as nice as yours though. Saw you over at Rat Rod Bob's... always great to see someone have some content when they mention their trucks 👍 best days to ya !
Nice BMX collection. I used to have a Robinson and Hutch Pro Racer in mid 80's. I now have the new SE Racing Perry Racing Signaturte 27.5" PK Ripper as fun exercise bike cause I dont fit on 20" and 24" bikes anymore.
It's has a Ridetech Air Suspension which includes: -Front & Rear HQ Series Shocks -Front upper & lower StrongArms -2.5″ Drop Spindles -Front MuscleBar -Bolt-On Rear 4 Link System It's about a 4/6″ drop compared to factory driving height. But I can air it out and drop the truck about another 3″ to 4″.
to have seat so low in front...did you have to change your inner fender for more space one like slush tub? and did it rub like this? thx you have a veny nice truck!
Thanks man! No, those are still the stock front inner fenders. All aired out it doesn’t touch the fenders, but it’s close. I never drive it so low, I always air it up. The Ridetech system is really nice. 👍🏽
One amazing build. Your father is looking down smiling and grinning. It sounds so good
That meant a lot Bro! Thank you so much!!

That truck is awesome! Would be cool if you had the wood burned and stained silver. With chrome rails
Love that fishscale hood
Beautiful build man Popop would be proud 👍
Blue would look good to
Thinking about it, haven’t seen too many wood truck beds in Blue.
