The same logic of Daytona will be applicable for any of these supersports. R6/600RR/ZX6R will be more expensive than Daytona IMO if ever launched here.

monsur habib z800 is a naked version (always cheaper than the faired one). Also, z800 isn't available in India to buy i guess.

Raaj.R MOTOVlogs We've better options than to buy a benelli 300 mate!
And if you can consider a budget of around 3.71 lakhs - go for the Yamaha R3. You would thank me later. But i guess you're planning on getting a Naked bike for mostly street riding purposes. In that Case, you can go with the Kawasaki z250SL or Duke 390 2017 model (which will launch in about 2-3 months) and believe me - KTM has fixed almost all common issues with it. I'd get the new Duke 390 if I couldn't get the Yamaha R3 (due to personal reasons xD )

    • @NinjaThug
      @NinjaThug 7 лет назад +1

Raaj.R MOTOVlogs First value for money bike from Kawasaki in their lineup is 650r IMO. I'd not go with any lower powered Kawasaki's.
Seating posture of R3 and Ninja 300 is almost similar. SIT ON BOTH or test ride to clear your mind about R3 being so aggressively seated bike. It's not. it's somewhere in between.

I think that KTM would have a contender, they build some in India. I also wouldn't buy a Harly, the finish is not as good as you would expect, and they have never been on par with any japanese bike, when it comes to reliability.
That's just my opinion, nice video tho :)

Since this video was made, Ninjas 650s are no longer being serviced in Bajaj pro biking centers. Kawasaki workshops in India while better and more numerous than other brands are still work in progress . I agree , Ninja 650s especially the older ones make excellent tourers .. have owned one since 2012 covered > 30,000 km no issues . It will cruise effortlessly at speeds between 140 to 160 kmph for any distance and will return Enfield like fuel efficiency if speed is kept below 120 km/hr. It does have ground clearance issues especially two up , so one has to be wary of speed breakers . Running parts are usually available while less often used parts will entail a wait. The Versys 650 is an even better choice for touring .. solves the ground clearance problem and has the fixtures for mounting luggage. Suspension is fantastic and is very comfortable even on bad roads ( anyone who tours in India knows that roads can turn from the sublime to the ridiculous in the blink of an eye .. ). Disadvantage is the steep saddle height ( Iam 58 and just 5ft 6 but have no problems on it so it should mostly be ok for you younger folks .. ) plus it is geared lower than the Ninja 650 and so runs at a higher RPM at the same speed making the Ninja slightly better for 4 and 6 lane highway touring ..

Great video Vikas - It would be nice if you can do a similar video for 250- 600cc bikes. I am a beginner for bikes so planning to buy Fazer 150 cc version 2 to start with as I need a sports touring bike only. Which bike should I upgrade to once I am done with Fazer - Cbr 250 R, Yamaha R3 or Ninja 300. Cbr 250 is old but VFM, R3 and Ninja 300 are a bit more on the expensive side I know Mahindra has launched Mojo which is considered as a sports tourer but it's a new entrant so I don't want to take any risks by going for it. Apart from guidance I would also like to appreciate your effort in making these videos I am from Hyderabad and I know how painful it can be to make them with all the traffic and cops. I go by the KBR road to office everyday and to see that in your videos was simply a great experience. Keep up the good work and I look forward for more reviews and advice from you. :)

Pretty nice summary. I was surprised though you didn't include the Ducati Scrambler, which I think is currently the best Value in terms of price, practicality and daily usability. Its easy to ride, extremely reliable, comes with ABS, has a good suspension.
Other than that, I agree the Kawasakis are the best VFM, but no ABS :( I really don't get it why ABS is not even offered as an option! These bikes would destroy the competition if they came with ABS!

Hey Vikas, really good video. Your justification for each motorcycle simplifies the decision making..
But based on what you said (a bit of corners and a bit of touring), personally, I feel that the best bet is the Benelli 600i..
It offers just about everything in just the right amounts.. Looks, usable power, rider comfort, etc.
Although kawasaki makes extremely efficient motorcycles, the 600s mentioned here lack the feel of a premium motorcycle. The exhaust note too does not sound that great (even with an aftermarket)..
Though I agree that Benelli has lesser service support, that is something that will come about in the months to come.. (And on a personal note, I stay in Pune.. So no issues for servicing, as the assembly plant is nearby.. So parts will be easily available)..
But again, thanks for the video.. It helped me make my decision..
    Cheers mate!

Put an aftermarket exhaust on it at the very least if you wanna make it sound better.

The thing is that i dont want to buy a cruiser and im just hooked on benelli tnt600i!! Is benelli that unreliable?? (U didnt recommend in your vlog) im in a fix. Please help me!!!

R6 2017 edition is having more bhp thant ninja 650 krt edition and.... Kawasaki is also known for their... I have heard that the previous gen ninja 650 was having not the best in class brakes nd low ground clearance and still the new krt edition also faces the same ground clearence. Ninja 650 is twin cylinder and r6 is 4 cylinder.

+RAMA PRASHATH Ram Choosing between R3 & Ninja 300 is like choosing between Tea & Coffee :P As far as Looks goes Ninja takes the lead and in Performance R3 excels a little more. If it was me I would have gone for Ninja 300. Because of Slipper clutch,Bigger fuel Tank,Pillion Grab rails and Big bike feel that Ninja provides

+RAMA PRASHATH Ram Go for R3. Don't go for Ninja 300, you will regret after. Kawasaki is a good company but Bajaj is not. They will try to suck all of your money. They don't care for the customer. I am a ninja owner and I sold it. Bike is good, but started having problems after every service. Going to buy R3. Also if you are seriously concerned about buying any one, please get the review from some of the owners you know, not blindly by any online reviews.

Sir can you please do a video for the 200cc class?
Because my brother has to get one for his college..
But the 200 rs is ruled out because of the poor quality and weight..
    the choices are..
    1 KTM Duke 200
    2 KTM RC 200
    3 Pulsar 200 NS
    4 Yamaha R15
My brother doesn't care about the fuel efficiency, price
He just wants a good engine, quick 0-100 and a good build quality which of the choices would be wise...???
    Thank you Sir...

the kawasakis are more expensive in nz compared to suzuki sfv650 and benelli bn600u. about 25% more and the 675 street triple is nearly 2x the price of the cheapest which is the hyosung at $8500
