We were at Jollywood last night. Mixed feelings- wasn’t worth what we paid, however, some definite highlights! I got to meet Ryno and Craig!! Thank you for being gracious and chatting with me! Ryno- I’m the one who chatted about Milwaukee with you😊 Getting on the rides with little wait times was a bonus for sure! The food at the Commissary/street fair was the best we had. The rain was a bummer, but we still enjoyed the fireworks show. This video, by the way, and the ending- classic Ryno! Well done and thanks for everything you all do!
Thank you for posting video of the shows, I very much enjoyed them. As usual, it's up to the wonderful cast members and entertainers to give their all to salvage Disney management's evil decisions to understaff and do the bare minimum in decor and new food and drink, while raking in more and more money from their guests. "Do less, charge more" is the Disney mantra and I don't, sadly, see that changing anytime soon.
Erica voiced, what many WDW Fans have been feeling. We hold out so much hope that Disney will finally turn the corner. We are waiting, wanting and with all our hearts, wishing that the Disney Magic returns. Looked like Disney just went through the motions on this one. Bring back the magic of Christmas. Disney has done it before, they could do it again.
We were there last night and the cast members really made the night for us. We met so many that seemed to really want the event to be a success. We skipped the shows/Brown Derby and mainly enjoyed the festive outfits of other guests and the shorter wait times for rides. I thought of it more as an After Hours Party at Hollywood Studios with a Christmas theme (would have helped though to have had free popcorn and sodas).
was there last night too. it wad great to walk onto attrations.. but the drink and food lines were ridiculous... went to the bar near Indian Jones and there was just one guy running the whole booth. broke my heart to watch him struggle, almost offered to jump back there to help him while what appeared to be 3 managers just chatting near by. I will say the cast members were in great spirits. I don't know I would do it again.. or save up more and go to mvmcp instead.. I've never been to that yet. thanks guys because you showed me I didn't miss much at the places you went to ..
As someone who already has a ticket purchased for a future party, this is really disappointing. I am glad you guys have made mistakes that I can now avoid. I’m already trying to sell this to myself as “just do the rides with shorter lines!” Hopefully future parties will be better though I don’t expect it to become amazing.

Thanks Ryno for always keeping it real. I was super bummed I couldn’t come out to experience this event but now I feel a lot better about not being able to go. I think I would have been pretty upset to fly 6 hours and spend all that money for this.
I'm so bummed. I was so excited to see how this party was 😢 i feel like they need to refund people for this night and seriously get it together. This event is definitely a cash grab. Disney took what should have been normal day events and stuck them behind a paywall with VERY limited time to explore and experience it 🙄

I don’t know if I’m fully at liberty to say this, but I will anyway. One of the bands I play with, a real jazz piano trio, was originally pitched to do the Brown Derby. They subsequently downsized Brown Derby to a singer/pianist, not at all what was originally marketed.
This is unfortunate, but I must express gratitude to you folks for taking the bullet for those of us who occasionally contemplate the idea of going to one of these. When I was in the Navy, in Orlando, I had a Sunday not followed by a Duty Roster day, so I booked a day at Magic Kingdom. Having done similar previously, with wonderful results (there was a shuttle that had gotten me to the gate in time for rope drop, and the day was not packed to the gills), I had high expectations. The shuttle ended up being very late, and the park was a mosh pit, and I was very confused until the parade happened by and I realized something that I had not thought of when booking the ticket ... it was Easter Sunday. Taught me a very important lesson: DON'T BOOK A TICKET ON A HOLIDAY!!! Just looking at the crowds on the video, I can already tell you that my wife, one of the sweetest and most patient persons one is ever going to meet, would be asking if we could leave early because she was "peopled out." Fascinating contrast to your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party video. I will be interested to see the video after visit #2.
It is a travesty that just a couple Christmas shows and treats is $159 and not just included in the price of a day admission. Disney is taking advantage of us.

It’s wild that this is an extra standalone at nearly $200 per ticket. People snatch them up before ever attending, which is hard to avoid, so WDW execs think it’s going great.

Thank you for the honest evaluation. For someone like me, a non local, spending that amount of money for four hours and having to run to be able to experience the shows, is not worth it for me. I enjoy the shows and would be very happy with doing nothing but shows, but when I am only able to go once, I don't want to be rushed.
This video was amazing! You sure made a mediocre event look and sound festive! Hope all of you get to come back and just enjoy the events with your friends and family. The Dis Unlimited is the best! Thank you for bringing the Magic to us.

I was expecting lights, camera & action jammed pack with more decor, more festive music, more themed actors - more everything. If you’re gonna call yourself, Jollywood Nights and have a very expensive ticketed event in one of the best decorated theme parks at Christmas, you need to absolutely bring it! 😬😩

I was just searching light up shoes to go with the outfit I’m wearing to Jollywood Nights next week and your outro made me laugh out loud!!! I’m going to concentrate on atmosphere, all of the music I can get to, some snacks, a couple rides and fireworks… ya’ll showed me that the Brown Derby is a time suck I can do without so thank you for that!
I went to the 1st Jollywood Nights also, I had an estimated wait of 10 minutes and it took 3 hours! However we were able to experience everything during those hours, including getting a rise of the resistance virtual queue! I had an excellent night!

I will say it looked waayy too busy for a private ticket event with multiple nights. Soo not worth $159.. This would've been a clever way to bring back the citizens of hollywood! The shows looked good with disney charm! I will say I am happy you're going back another night. You guys always go at the beginning of the events that go on months. I do understand it is expensive, but maybe stagger visits or something to test consistency. I can't usually go first nights of stuff, and I'd love to meet you guys. My rush of fear pass(good for almost all dates in September) to Hhn was the same cost for one peak night at this event. 😬 I think Jollywood was a great idea. But was poorly planned with very little offerings. Especially for the price.
We did mickeys very merry and we're pretty disappointed. We got stuck on Haunted Mansion for about an hour and they gave us an anytime pass that wasn't useful for anything that had a line. We got stuck on buzz later that night and then waited in line for big thunder only for it to go down when we're almost to the loading area. 😂 It wasn't good.
I went last night, I was looking forward to it but its not worth the price and long lines everywhere. Could have done more, would not go back unless they modify it. I saw Erica last and I wish I had said Hello.
You all are so much nicer than I was with my friends. The event was definitely not a christmas event, was just an afterhours event. I did Mickeys Very Christmas the night before and i would do that one a million times over again instead of Jollywood

Excellent work on the video, folks! By the way: Kermit DOES NOT sound like the Kermit I know and love (Miss Piggy is a little closer to the authentic Miss Piggy voice, but not much.) It seems like the Muppet voice problem is emblematic of the whole evening, i.e. things should have been a lot better than they were.
Sorry you didn't enjoy yourselves. Weve only been to a handful of parties over the years. The old Boo to you, and Xmas parties were usually great (2 of our BTY parties had torrential rain and we still had an absolute blast!) I may just skip this party in the future after watching your reveiw. Please let us knownif it turns around if you go again. Ps. The videos since the restart have been wonderful. What a bait and switch. This seems to be the new standard for much of what Disney does now- get them in for a high price, promise greatness, throw an exclusive cookie and a popcorn bucket at them, and call it a night.

We were at this party and had a great time! Even saw Rhino but did not get to say hello. We rode Rise and a couple of other rides, and ate at several of the food spots. Visited Tip Top Club and did a bit of shopping. Got some cute pictures in front of the Christmas tree. Left about 11:30 as that was our arrival day and we were super tired. For us, the party was festive . We didn’t get to do everything we wanted because of the lines, but it was good enough.
The ending. Ryno. I have tears. Thank you! We have tickets in December, i hope it improves and we’ll have fun as always. I have a gertie skirt to wear and one can hope it survives better than his shoes.
I want the Osborne lights back. I have to go back and watch the full video because I just skipped through this for now. But the decorations honestly look really lame for a company that could do so much more. Doesn't entice me to come. Honestly, if they had a huge light display like in the old days the wife and I would drive down for a long weekend. But they can't even put the lights on the castle anymore so nope.
the crazy thing is for those prices you would think the food would be included? to sit all that time and have to pay for the food at brown derby on top of park tickets is crazy.

I will say it looked waayy too busy for a private ticket event with multiple nights. Soo not worth $159.. This would've been a clever way to bring back the citizens of hollywood! The shows looked good with disney charm! I will say I am happy you're going back another night. You guys always go at the beginning of the events that go on months. I do understand it is expensive, but maybe stagger visits or something to test consistency. I can't usually go first nights of stuff, and I'd love to meet you guys. My rush of fear pass(good for almost all dates in September) to Hhn was the same cost for one peak night at this event. 😬 I think Jollywood was a great idea. But was poorly planned with very little offerings. Especially for the price.
We did mickeys very merry and we're pretty disappointed. We got stuck on Haunted Mansion for about an hour and they gave us an anytime pass that wasn't useful for anything that had a line. We got stuck on buzz later that night and then waited in line for big thunder only for it to go down when we're almost to the loading area. 😂
It wasn't good.
I went last night, I was looking forward to it but its not worth the price and long lines everywhere. Could have done more, would not go back unless they modify it. I saw Erica last and I wish I had said Hello.

You all are so much nicer than I was with my friends. The event was definitely not a christmas event, was just an afterhours event. I did Mickeys Very Christmas the night before and i would do that one a million times over again instead of Jollywood

Excellent work on the video, folks! By the way: Kermit DOES NOT sound like the Kermit I know and love (Miss Piggy is a little closer to the authentic Miss Piggy voice, but not much.) It seems like the Muppet voice problem is emblematic of the whole evening, i.e. things should have been a lot better than they were.

Sorry you didn't enjoy yourselves. Weve only been to a handful of parties over the years. The old Boo to you, and Xmas parties were usually great (2 of our BTY parties had torrential rain and we still had an absolute blast!) I may just skip this party in the future after watching your reveiw. Please let us knownif it turns around if you go again. Ps. The videos since the restart have been wonderful. You all seem to be so much more full of life and happier. Love you guys.

What a bait and switch. This seems to be the new standard for much of what Disney does now- get them in for a high price, promise greatness, throw an exclusive cookie and a popcorn bucket at them, and call it a night.

We were at this party and had a great time! Even saw Rhino but did not get to say hello. We rode Rise and a couple of other rides, and ate at several of the food spots. Visited Tip Top Club and did a bit of shopping. Got some cute pictures in front of the Christmas tree. Left about 11:30 as that was our arrival day and we were super tired. For us, the party was festive . We didn’t get to do everything we wanted because of the lines, but it was good enough.
I have to say Ryno at the end is hilarious. I was so excited to go to this party in two weeks but now idk.

I want the Osborne lights back. I have to go back and watch the full video because I just skipped through this for now. But the decorations honestly look really lame for a company that could do so much more. Doesn't entice me to come. Honestly, if they had a huge light display like in the old days the wife and I would drive down for a long weekend. But they can't even put the lights on the castle anymore so nope.

How disappointing! This isn't the first after hours event that Disney has done so there's no excuse for the roadbumps you ran into. Any Disney event should be run like clockwork...first night or not! Thanks guys!

I would be pissed if I paid Disney Prices for a ticket to this party where all there is to do is wait in long lines or sit at a table for a long wait. What kind of soirée is it with no live music and extremely long lines for refreshments?

I was there, stood next to yall at Brown Derby but you were filming so I didn’t want to interrupt! We waited 2 hours for our 10 mins… lol also I agree party could have been so much better. I did get a survey from Disney asking what I thought of Jollywood Nights!
