(Patched) Lords of the Fallen - Leprosarium Kitchen Secret Door?

Update: this appears to have been an artifact of an old route planned in the game, as Hexworks have patched the game and the staircase is no longer there and the wall is blocked by tables and shelves now.
From the Vestige of Brother Jeremiah at the Hallowed Brothers Leprosarium, in the Manse Kitchen, this umbral archway/door/portal thing definitely feels like a secret of some sort.
I've tried equipping different weapon/armor sets related to the Hallowed Sentinels and Hallowed Brothers, used some gestures, etc. So far no luck. Thoughts?

But how? In my walkthrough, this wall full of shelves, which I can't destroy...

Looks like they patched it out. I vividly recall seeing this pathway as well when the game launched, but it's no longer there.

Yeah, when I went through on NG+ it was gone. Replaced my tables and shelves as well. I bet it was the original route planned from the stairs below from the wine cellar area. They probably added the Vestige later and decided to divert the player to the right towards that instead of the branching kitchen path. Oh well 🤷‍♂️

@@Severe95 yeah, that wall behind it leads directly to the vestige flowerbed you pass through on the way to the manse, so that was my guess too.
