Her improvisations awaken the imagination and heart of the listener to the immanence of the Divine... in the simplest of things. A living master... in our time. The truth really is self-evident!
Barkers also have poor articulation compared to pure mechanical action, but in the end it does not matter that much, a good maintaned instrument always suits for improvisation, the player can just adapt to the instrumant instantaniously.
@@SADRailsim True, one cannot compare a Cavaille-Coll to a Schnitger or whatever - horses for courses, but compared with a C-C, one's typical Anglo-American Electric/Electro-pneumatic actioned instruments are incredibly sluggish.
Cette femme est un génie. Et elle reste en tout point modeste. Merci Sophie Véronique Cauchefer Choplin.
Her improvisations bring out the best of any organ due to her genius
She is the greatest living organist today!

Magnificent, what joy she brings to all those who listen to her. Bless you Sofie.
Fine, sympathetic, sensational and always going deep in the hart

I bet she missed the articulation of the Barker levers here. Electro-mechanical action in this recording - and it shows...
