    Nice work Dave. Those "H" brackets! I had no idea that was what they were used for. That is actually pretty cool!

      They really are pretty cool. I was dumbfounded when I found those "stupid things" hanging off of the seats. I finally figured out what they were used for, and boy I'm so glad that I did. They do work great.

      Great, as always, to hear from you Louis! I'm missing Bob as well. I'll see if I can get him on another video soon. No promises,. but I'll ask.

    Thanks Dave! I have the canopy but not the poles. I’ll add those to my loooong list! I was messing with the H-brackets yesterday and couldn’t figure it out. Very timely video for me to now run out and put them on correctly.

      Word to the wise... do not pay an arm and a leg for poles or anything that goes on the bed of the truck, even a new bed. People are ditching these left and right to build their overland expedition vehicles, and they are a dime a dozen. This includes troop seats, bed stakes... all that. Cool? Thanks for watching and I'm glad this video helped you out.

      @@HelicoolsHelipad Great information! Gotta source a tailgate and get through all the maintenance first. I have the canopy, just need the poles. You know I’ll be in touch! Always appreciated.

      @@HelicoolsHelipad Yes sir! I text you about the canopy. While I’m here, do you know the part number or any specifics for the trailer/parking brake rebuild kit? I text you my video where the trailer brake constantly leaks.

      Wellllllll... the video was getting too long, so I cut the shelving unit build out of this video... it will be in the next video... I promise. :-D
      I will also provide some more upgrades to my "shop" as well. LOL!!!

      Thank you Mark. I have found a fix for this water retention problem... right up my alley. It is cheap and easy! Blessings to you and your family today and tomorrow, and forever.

      Спасибо, сэр! Еще не все. Мне просто нужно найти еще немного денег, чтобы это произошло. Проще сказать, чем сделать. Хорошего нового года. Thank you, Sir! More to come. I just need to find some more money to make it happen. Easier said than done. Have a great new year.

    Something. Is still wrong with those strap clamps. Won’t hold poop that way.

    • @HelicoolsHelipad
      @HelicoolsHelipad  3 года назад

      Nothing is wrong with them and they tend to hold a lot of water... remember, they are only there to hold the poles in the bows so they don't rattle around, loosen up, and start falling out. They do not actually hold the tarp canopy on the poles. Cheers!
