Whenever I’m with client and there’s an off-center slidebar placement to decide, I always recommend the slidebar favor the side closest to the outside, so the handshower naturally cants the spray away from the opening

    Wonderful upgrade!
Each time I use the shower in our RV, I wish for one of these! Girls especially need this upgrade to be able to shower all of their parts.

Agree, looks good and is functional. The advertisement at the beginning of your channel sure drive home all you teach on tow vehicle & hitches. Thanks a bunch!

Our new GD 415 came with one. My suggestion for anyone adding one is make sure you make it high enough if you're tall. Ours could of been 4" higher but I get by.

Do they have these in sun baked toenail yellow plastic to match all the other fittings in my 2001 camper 😂

I dont think this would be a necessary item for me but i get it. I was hoping you were adding a recirculating valve i have been thinking of adding this to our rv. Thanks for the videos!

Nice, my better half would like that since she's quite a bit shorter than me. I just installed a thermostatically controlled RV shower valve, haven't tried it yet so the jury is still out on that one.

Love the upgrade! We’re still shopping for our first RV, but I will likely install one of these such that can raise the head even higher - I’m 6’2” and most RV shower heads are too low for me.

Wife loves to keep the hand held shower head below her face when not needing to wash her hair. I suggest placing the slide closer to the door and direct the water into the shower but water still splashes on the door or curtain.

Similar, my wife prefers her shower head at slightly below waist level and inverted. Not sure why, but to each their own 🤷🏻‍♂️

I try to use a 1x4 PVC plank as a backer I can rout the edges and attach to existing aluminum studs. I would have to do a lot of thinking on this install on how it would look. I mostly use the PVC backer for handicap assist handles for my disabled wife. I am in the process of doing that in our new artic fox grande Ronde

That is a great low cost upgrade!!! I did a similar, but more elaborate shower upgrade on my 5th wheel single piece fiberglass shower using one of the new surface mounted shower stations that mount right over/ replace the existing valve fixture and extend up the wall. The new shower station has a few different shower and massage sprayer options, back lit LED valves, selectable color water fall, water temperature readout and adjustable height bar and hand shower wand for around $200. The only down side is the shower station protrudes out about 2" from the wall and requires ability to remove existing shower valve assembly and pull and connect supply lines through opening, without letting the lines fall behind the wall, but was very doable. Looks and works great!

Is there a part number for that shower curtain? What a great option to take the glass out and replace it with that screen.

Why not remove the old one and put it in the center of the shower?

What shower head is that. I just picked my Surveyor 19RBLE. Great trailer but the shower head isn’t so great. I like the upgrade but I do have fear of drilling holes. To avoid drilling I use command strips all over the RV for various hooks and hangers.

I don’t care for these slides as I have no need to raise or lower the head.

I don't see the need or desire for this. If the shower head were fixed then yes I could the the advantage but it's not a fixed shower head, it's a wand that can be used in such a way to shower any part of your body.
