love it? I'm doing a protective style challenge until after the holidays and I'm already so bored with my mini twist after 2 months of doing them. I will for sure do this when I take my twist down this time.
I LIKED it a lot, but the ONLY thing I wld do differently and this is just for "MY STYLING THOUGHT" ,is I wld criss- cross the bck over lapping each side as I go up until i reach the top & combined it w/pompadour or just let it hang to one side of face whichever it fell or prefer... OTHER THAN THAT DOLLFACE you did YOUR thang ❤💪👏👏👏😚
Thanks Patrice! I add gel along my roots because it helps to smooth the hair down by reducing frizz and holding the hair in place so the style can last longer.
Shanmanae Wilder Thank you :) For similar hairstyles like this one, I'll keep in up to two weeks the most. Usually by the second week I'm changing up the look by wearing the twists differently or loose.
Hey Guys, If one day you "happen" to try out one of these hairstyles and there "happens" to be a camera lying around, feel free to take a picture of the style & share it on my Facebook page: facebook.com/naturallymichy. I'm always excited & curious to know how the styles turned out on you! :) I would love to see it!
It took a total of 4 hours to complete from start to finish. I say try it out anyways. When I first started doing styles like this I was also nervous about whether I could pull it off because I didn't know how to corn-roll braid or flat twist anything, but sometimes you may surprise yourself. At least you'll know/ learn by trying. :)
Hi Millie. I love this style and can't wait to try it. Quick question. Do you think it will turn out the same on wet hair or should I let it dry first?
Thank you. I usually do it on stretched dry hair because it's a little more easier to manipulate and the twists seem to elongate in length creating more volume. I don't see why the ending results wouldn't be the same if done wet... but don't hold me to that because again, I usually do it when my hair is dry and moist from a conditioner.
your welcome im trying to grow my hair!!! do u use any hair growth products? or hav u always had long hair? i hav a hard time wit growing my nape area n i am trying my best to grow my hair, thnks!!!
I had longer hair up to my junior year of college, but then it started to break off a lot because I used heat daily. I've tried Biotin , MSM & Silica (Horsetail) taken all around the same time for about 3 months, but they seem to do the opposite effect on me and there wasn't any additional growth than I usually get. Although,I know others who've used those same growth products and they've seen growth, so it just depends on how your body reacts to them.
My hair tangles so much, it gets hard to part it to even attempt styles like this "drives me to the point where I don't know what else to do other than some chunky twists & call it a day & then wear a ponytail the next". On my wash days I detangle before shampoo or cowash, I also moisturizer & seal then detangle again. I have a lot of hair & its thick but I always work with it in sections, but styling is limited for me right now.
Have you ever done any of the hair growth challenges like inversion, or bamboo tea, and if not would you ever do those? and if you would please report back to us (your faithful viewers):) if any of those helped you to see growth?!
Lol, I had to look both of those methods up because I never heard of them before. So no I haven't tried them before, but I won't say that I never will. I'm actually curious about the Inversion Method since it's only a week long process. So I will definitely do a video on that if I try it out and show my results from it since I'm kind of skeptical of growing up to an inch of hair in a week. We'll see :)
Beautiful this look so good and tension free.
Whenever I need a protective style I always come to your channel first, lol!!! 😍😘

loveness sibanda :)
very pretty
Thank you!
great!
You have some thick pretty hair
Everline baker Thank you!
How did your hair get so thick
I didn't do anything special or out of the ordinary. I believe that I was just born with it.
Also my hair never stays when I twist it..it always unravels and puffs. I don't know what to do to make it stay!
Super late response try twisting the opposite direction or rope twisting. Coil or bantu your ends. If not use the tiny perm rods on the ends
I just gota sub girl ur to awesome
hydratedcurls Awe Thanks
I wish I was good departing so that I can try this myself. Unfortunately I will have to pay someone to do it
I love this but I don't have the patience. Also, I'm absolutely horrible at flat twisting
Well if all fails, perhaps you can find a friend/someone else to help you out with the style. It's okay :)
I may do this tonight....If I can stop procrastinating.
>-
Woooow 🙆🏾 gorgeous style!! Can I just pay you to be my stylist?!
+April Reynolds Thank you! That's depending on where you are located :)
si cute

Just do a roller set and styling will be a breeze
YASSSSS
