I consider being forced to take drugs which may adversely affect your physical health is just as much violence as being punched in the face. These drugs can increase the mortality of the patients or cause organ failure or hypothyroidism etc. It should be up to the patient whether or not the benefits of taking these drugs are outweighed by the negatives. In one case, the psych meds caused me to become psychotic.

Repetitive CTOs are unnecessary- individuals should be free to leave an episode behind and rebuild their lives rather than be subjected to these psychiatrists what-if scenarios

forcing people to take "medication to keep them well" is a great stretch of the meaning of "well" from what I've seen.

6:29 "selfish" it should be noted that some degree of personal suffering due to side effects might justify some risk to others. As an analogy we have driving a car, which imposes a risk that you fall asleep at the wheel for your own convenience. From this, it seems reasonable to assume that there is a level of side effect that justifies some risk to others.

The whole program is a joke, and is a form of modern day slavery.
For the outsider, who is not subjected to this CTO, the depth of how unfair it is to take chemicals you don't need, with major side effects.
The opinion of the second doctor that's needed for CTO, talked to me for like two mins, in a rushed manner with very little substance. She asked me things like if I live with family etc. If I work.
    Absolutely ridiculous

The social worker lecturer is way more knowledgeable than the first speaker, psychiatrist, who is clearly set in his ways and lacks empathy

His language was really poor. He clearly lacks compassion. If he speaks like this publicly - I dread to think how he speaks/acts behind closed doors.

A fact being repeatedly ignored is there are jails that are psychiatric facilities... yes they are combined therefore the question of not including police intervention in a violent event is moot. There's literally a facility for this! This debate is stupid at many points.

The response to several excellent questions have been cut out... possibly due to the fact that the responses wouldn't legally satisfy people surrounding i.e. creating a second class citizen. This is incredibly disturbing to find happens in this video. It shows the nhs is covering something up, and this cto is being abused.

Absolutely immoral. Makes a mockery of democratic freedom. This legislation should be overturned. Drugging people for outdated ideas and iatrogenic illnesses, that come out the minds of quacks for profits and control. It is witchcraft. You are your best psychiatrist. If you feel your becoming mentally unstable find someone who cares about you. Who accepts you and listens to your story. Find the tools you have the key and the answers are within yourself. I urge you do not hand yourself over to quackary. The public are ignorant on these matters. You don't have a chemical imbalance you have a spiritual imbalance. Mental illness is not what the so called experts say. Own your experiences and take responsibility for your own soul. Expose these lies . There has been an explosion in bipolar diagnoses and the like. They have an illness for every type of natural human behaviour from coffee drinking disorder to some sexual fetish.bloody nonsense. Forcing chemicals on people is abhorrent and counterproductive. Wake up world and rid the world of this evil practice.
