Star really showed up, smashed the villains and then left. Never in my life have I been so devastated to see someone I’ve seen for only two episodes die.
AFO is aware of the OFA user having to willfully grant the quirk, that’s why he’s using Shiggy as a vessel in order to overrule that. His pure hatred is strong enough to fight back against the will of 9 people.

@@iinkstain nah im pretty sure the anime still havent explained that, it was all just speculation at this point, I remembered being pissed reading the manga when the thing happened, and thought "what the f*ck kinda explanation would Horikoshi come up with this time?"

I honestly got chills when Star’s quirk started rampaging.
Even though she was gone as quickly as she showed up, Star and Stripe knew how to make an impact! For better or for worse.

As much as I enjoyed these 2 episodes, it's the first 2 episodes of this new season. I'd have liked it a lot more if Cassie's sacrifice happened at the end of MHA. Like a final battle of Deku + Star against AFO, and Star's quirk got stolen in the middle of the battle. Which ultimately gave Deku the opening to finish AFO. I honestly don't even feel inclined to continue watching the rest of the season now. Cassie's about the only thing that got me curious about S7.
*spoilers* That wouldn't have worked. She could barely keep up with an incomplete shigaraki. She'd be a mere annoyance to him when he's complete. She'd be something to protect, a liability. She wouldn't have ANY time to put a rule on her quirk completed shigaraki is TOO fast for that.

yeah, again, all for one said the last thing he wanted was for New Order to collide with OfA, not that he was afraid of Star and Stripe as a combatant. She can make rules on Deku, her powers, while not limitless, have almost no limit to what she can do to others, she can boost his power or give him special properties, make him immune to certain attacks or increase his speed, there are many things New Order could do to OfA so that Deku would be an even greater threat. That’s definitely what he meant, as he literally said it like that. He didnt want the two powers to collide.
I do read the manga, you just have a strange theory in your head. I mean it takes some serious mental gymnastics to purposefully ignore AfO’s words given to you on screen, and to ignore the very properties of the New Order quirk whilst those where also given to you on screen. Also, Shigi being incomplete has nothing to do with his statement, as he never said “if Star and Stripe and Deku fight Shigaraki now he’d lose” or shit like that. Just that HE, AFO, didnt want the two powers colliding. Smh.

They will show some training scenes, but it's not a training arc and the plot moves forward. lol
