no. thank you in showcasing and sharing your love for nails. you fully explained the difference and now I get! the light bulb went off and now I can walk into a nail supply shop and use the right language to get the product I am seeking. hallelujah. this is a beautiful product line and the color variations for various skin tones is bang on, 'cause some days I just want something more pared down, low key, but elegant. 😁
Thank you for swatching. The colours aren't bad. Delicate Peach looks closer to what I'd wear. LE could've made a third colour that was a bit darker. Maybe next time, LE will collaborate with another nail tech to see what they conjure up.
I also thought they could have made an even darker shade, they did release some p+ colors as well that has some darker shades but they were all pink, they didn’t have any nude that were more brown.
Great video showcasing these products. I'm planning to get these soon thanks to you! They look like so much fun to use. Do these products give off a lot of heat spikes? I'm always iffy about this.
They do have heat spikes but I always flash cure my gels for a few seconds before putting them in for a full cure, this pretty much eliminates or at least greatly reduces any heat spike.
Hi Cathy ! I have a question lol my nails are not hard at all wish one it is preferable to use ? Extreme or builder ? I saw a video of Jojo Wicken and I am not sure that I understand perfectly loll I know that jimmy gel is ok but I want to know about those two had gel. Hope you understand what I mean 😊
The easiest to work with would be JimmyGel, it is very strong. You can also use Extreme or Builder but they don’t self level as fast so they may be a little more difficult to work with if you’re not used to hard builder gel.
Question why would you use hard gel vs a soft gel for an overlay? Is a personal preference thing, a performance thing? would you mind explaining it to me. P.s hard gelll scares me because it can't be soaked of. but I'm thinking for durability I might switch. or should I use both? currently using luminary. Thank you in advance!!!
It really depends on your end goal and the clients nail type. Everyone nail chemistry is different and some products will just work better than others ☺️
@@NailsByKatieDutra Damn you are fast. I came to delete this comment because I found another video where you explained it. sorry. and Thank you so much 💓

I'd be super excited if you'd sell to non techs. I'm saving money for college and in the meantime would love to use LE.

Do you prefer light elegance or Akzentz for hard gel?

Do you prefer the jimmy gel or luminary more?
That’s a tough one!
So you don't need a slip solution, you just use the builder in a thin layer?
Slip solution is for polygel. Not needed for regular hard/builder gel ☺️

It’s not necessary and I wouldn’t mix bonders/gel from different brands ☺️
