@@emmanuelpapo2452 To begin, you would need to do IELTS General, if you want to use the Permanent residency route and score at least 6.0 in each section & overall too. After that, you are to do an evaluation of your highest degree, using WES or any other accredited evaluation body, then, you join the Express entry pool.

Reading 4.5 listening 5.5 writing 6.5 speaking 7.0 but that was for UK travel overall band 6.0

Been on this Japa thing for years but wasn't well informed on PNP. We tried it as a couple but just one of us had a BSC, that's what discouraged us from continuing. We wanna try the study route and see how it goes.

The person with the B.Sc can try for the PNP or FSW route. It doesn't really matter if the other person doesn't have education but the person with the B.Sc. must be the primary applicant & have work experience.

If you don't have a sibling or relative in Canada, you can go through the Federal Skilled workers route via Express entry but you have to build your points to the high draw scores!

Congratulations 🎉. So if someone’s occupation is not listed among the ones that are high in demand on IRCC website/province pages, one can’t get a nomination of interest?
That has to do the provincial website, not IRCC website. However, you can choose an occupation in high demand that is often called that closes aligns to your job duties or occupation or you can choose to go through the Federal Skilled Workers route instead.

Yes, you do. That's the only way you can get NOI from a province. If you decide to do it outside express entry, it will take way longer

Different provinces have different rules for their provincial nomination. You would need to check the requirements of those provinces listed, as I'm mainly familiar with the Alberta PNP & POST-ITA process. Some provinces require you to have a job offer, be in a certain industry or have a high CRS score before you are chosen, so, you would need to research on that too.

I entered the pool & got a notification of interest from Alberta, that gave me 600 extra points on the express entry pool & I got an invitation to apply for Permanent Residency from the federal government

I am presently staying with my relative, I don't have an apartment yet.
You can tell someone you know to help to check out an apartment to see if you may want to go for it or you can ask to join online groups for the province you would be going to, so that you can search for apartments better

Thanks a lot. I did upfront medicals, as my AOR was before October last year. My medicals were passed 3 weeks after AOR (which was same day I did medicals).

Hello Imole. Thanks for watching. Alberta picks from the pool, so, you're not to apply to them. They would send you an NOI if you're eligible. You would pay the fees on submission of your application.

What about those who don't have anyone there
If you don't have anyone in Canada, you can go through the Federal Skilled Worker route but you have to have a high CRS score. The draw scores of recent have been from 520 upwards, sometimes even up to 560.
You would need to have high scores in your IELTS to increase your CRS score.
Have you done a simulation of your CRS score?

@@Viviansreality1 For the Federal Skilled worker route, having a job offer is not compulsory. It can boost your score by 50-200 points but it's not compulsory. Other ways to boost your score are French (exam) & having a higher score in IELTS or a higher degree.
