Food for thought. We enjoy some of the same hobbies and I can relate to a lot of what you’re saying. I’m guilty of excess too and then forgetting that I have things…..I try to purge from my closet regularly but I do enjoy purchasing new items. This time of year I’m motivated to reorganize which helps me remember what I have. Progress over perfection! Thanks for the inspiration❤

2023 is also my year to use up everything before I purchase any new items. I think I can go up to July before I would need to purchase any makeup, haircare and hygiene products.
I’m right there with you! I think the only category I’ll need to replenish sooner is hygiene (toothpaste, deodorant) and skincare. I don’t have *too* many backups in those areas. You’ve got this!

I’m also doing a no buy this year. I’m hoping to pay a lump sum off my mortgage with the money saved. I agree with you on buying lots of “stuff” then don’t get around to using them. I too like to buy lots of body lotion and bath products (and candles!). I also want to reduce the amount of food I waste so I need to plan my meals. Your bedroom looks lovely, I like the wreath & festive bedding / cushions. New subscriber.

I am doing a makeup no buy this year. If I did as many categories as you I would get discouraged quickly. I have realized by not shopping for beauty I am intentionally shopping less and most other areas of my life will benefit from less spending as well.

I'm doing a product specific no buy. I just have to much, after my inventory video I was like woah.. I love to cook, it is one of my favorite creative outlets.. best of luck on your no buy
