nah it's because hating on newjeans is trendy now, just like they did with aespa in 2022, I'm a girl group fan for 9 years and I observe how when a rookie girl group starts getting on their 1/2 years they get a massive hate wave for months bcs ppl want to fill their miserable lives, and then passes it to another group (this happened to snsd, twice, red velvet, bp, gidle, itzy, le sserafim, aespa and many more)
