I think that the cheater was moving a bit better, the tail was shaking very nicely! What other rig would you suggest for this? I do a lot of perch fishing, here in Europe, and I think it would do good nose hooked on drop-shot!
@@Marcuccioperca it could definitely be used on a dropshot rig. I prefer Dimiki style like on the video or using it as a trailer on a Zman Jackhammer. I’d like to see someone try jerking it soft fluke style!
@@waltergurly4040 Yes sir, they are kinda pricey but it beats me having to go to bass pro and pick up freeloaders all the time. Plus anything that keeps me out of bass pro saves my wallet a lot of money in the long run haha!
Nice machining good looking bait . but man that price made my butthole pucker .. I picked up an angling ai 5 inch coreshot stick 3.5 core shot phantom grub 4 inch grub along with a 6oz lureworks injector 20 mins from the house for $260 and picked up another 5 inch core shot for under $90 shipped on offerup
@@lastswimcustomscool if they're not durable then I was mistaken, mine are in the car, and I haven't tried them yet, I got the white to match my jack hammer, I thought they were elastomer and that's why I bought them. I won't be buying more if they are not...FishOn
@@1jimif Yeah they are great for the Jackhammers but I usually end up having the hook rip through the back of the bait. Or the sunfish try to swallow the whole tail and end up ripping it off haha!
@@nickkalisek8463 These are custom built freestyles using a 4/0 Gamakatsu hook! Those hooks are insanely sharp and really help with keeping the fish pinned! I’m sure the VMC heads would also work!
That’s a great looking bait Bobby. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Thanks my friend!
Great job. Really enjoy your videos.
Thanks my friend! 🙌
Very nice job! Looks great! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks buddy! 🙌
Good looking baits and colors!
Thank you!
Thats mold is going to be a good one. I think the test tank looks better than the real freeloader
@@Baitmakerz I agree! I’ve came to really like the test tank comparisons!
@@lastswimcustoms Yea I "had" a test tank then someone put fish in it. Now they wont stop reproducing. Maybe I can sell some fish with the baits
Use that Motor oil laminate pretty quick, trust, it will bleed, and look like a pure motor oil soon. Kearby molds are top knotch
@@shanebuske3311 Yeah I’m using them this weekend! These fish aren’t too picky!

Nice bait. As a bait maker myself it would be really hard for me to justify the price of that mold I can buy 2 molds for that price.

Yeah they are pricey but definitely up there in quality! I love a mold with good fit and finish. I paid like $255 on sale so a little better!
Crush city is elastomer or elastech ,if I'm not mistaken. I was going to check but mine are out in my car....FishOn...Jim
@@1jimif I don’t know what they are exactly but not super durable. I go through a bag a day usually on the jackhammer trailers.

Looks good but I don't understand the design of the tail. I fish saltwater. That tail would get bit off constantly.
@@gregm8941 All the fish around here don’t have teeth. You’ll still lose a tail if a fish short strikes it occasionally but it works really well!
What jig head is that? Is the bait able to be put on the vmc swimbait jig head?
