Lawsuit filed against Cobb County Sheriff to release records on jail deaths

- The department has denied 11Alive access to public records under the Georgia Open Records Act. The cases were previously closed by the department.

United States Justice Department might need to investigate in Prison by looking their face on differents photos, after dying in Jail for these inmates who begged merci to get help, Nobody didn't listen their to demand. Why that?

It’s good to know he lost his election to a man who seems willing to listen and be open. Criminals should be incarcerated for their rehabilitation and society's protection, but they are still human beings.
Does anyone believe this to be true. "On June 12, the Department concluded its investigation into Wingo's . It found no one committed a crime or violated any policy. The report did not recommend disciplinary action taken on any employee. The medical examiner ruled Wingo's natural, caused by a perforated gastric ulcer."
Cobb County is still trying to hide the June 13, 1997 terrorist attack on the Home Depot Corporate Office because it was a terrorism for hire plot by the executives of Home Depot but also Cobb Police were too chicken to attempt Eric Rudolph and his culprits because the cops were afraid Zell Miller’s boys may detonate the truck bomb and blow them up. Cobb police 100% cowards. They’re worse than Oklahoma City and Centennial Park Bombings suspect Mike Cook and his brothers. Just too chicken to man up for their mistakes. You take the guns, knives, explosives from the terrorists and they can’t even whip their way out of a wet paper bag and the same goes for Cobb PD: take away their badges, guns and jail you have nothing but a bunch of GI guns ho trigger happy guys whom cannot fight a middle school student without some help or backup

I saw the GBI interviews of the head nurse and they don't know what they are doing when it comes to medical issues. They admitted so to the nurse that they are learning as they go. It was the nurses and doctors fault, due to incompetence and laziness they refused to do their job. Part of doing a evaluation is to talk to the patient, look at the patient and do vital signs. Non of that was done.
The sheriff should be arrested and lock up in his own jail until he turn all the information over.Lock his ass up!

Thankfully, the community has elected a new Sheriff since all this happened last year in Cobb County.
Fortunately, when elected Law Enforcement leaders abuse their power, or circumvent the will of the people, they have an opportunity every four years to elect someone new to the job.
Which also means that the Sheriff is a servant of the public trust. And Craig D. Owens has already done a better job for the people of Cobb County, Georgia in his first year than the previous Sheriff did during his entire tenure, which began way back in 2003.
He ran virtually unopposed time and time again, until now Sheriff Owens has managed to make history becoming the first African American Sheriff in Cobb County ever in a stunning upset victory that was really more of a statement of the community's diminished faith in Sheriff Warren.
Let's just say this whole series of inexplicable jail deaths is merely the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to the former Sheriff's increasing record of shortcomings.
