Interviewing Dario Argento is a privilege for any interviewer or future filmmaker who wants to make horror movies, so it's always important to learn from the genius like him. Furthermore, his movie PELTS was one of the first horror movies disturbed me as a child, so for a 10-years-old kid watches a movie like this one is terrifiyng.

Interesting to see him talk in English, a rare thing, and to talk about suicidal thoughts and drug use. This guy is a genius on another level way above any filmmaker, and there are a LOT of great and unique ones!

Long live Dario argento he’s the greatest filmmaker in my eyes and his films will live on. I will always love The Three Mothers trilogy, Deep Red, Trauma, Phenomena, Opera, The Bird with the Crystal plumage, Tenebrae, The Stendhal Syndrome, Sleepless, Jenifer & Pelts, Two Evil Eyes. Even the films he produced and co written were nothing short of awesome. He produced and co wrote Demons 1 & 2 and The Church all three were fantastic. He even financed Dawn of the Dead (1978) and produced The Sect and The Wax Mask which were crazy and fun.

I hope Mr. Argento, and Mr. Cozzi are ok through all this Corona Virus, Italy being one of most hardest hit. My mother visited their "Profondo Rosso" store a few years back. Please be ok you two!

I visited Profondo Rosso back in 2006, and while I missed the opportunity of meeting with Dario, I DID spend a pleasant afternoon chatting with Luigi Cozzi…
