The Salah + nunez combo scored 2 late for us down a man to win at NEW last year. Diaz and Mo almost won and then almost saved us a point vs TOT away too. That's how to play it.
Gav, your question at 25 minutes. Are you really comparing 11 vs 10 with a Tottenham & a City team? We went there and seized control in 1st half until the red card. I would have liked to keep both wingers but look at our opening 5 games on the back of summer tournaments. After these tough away games we can go again vs weaker teams. League decided vs other 18 teams & consistency.
@@talkinkop yeah I agree then after the sending off keep some threat going forward with Saka & Martinelli. The approach in these opening games has been to maximize return of points in opening 5 games-quite a tough run. Of course many fans would want to play further up the field in second half. Our back 5 have been physically ahead of the rest of the team coming out of preseason
I see the subliminal comments about Zubi to City have already begun. Gav, don’t forget: 'He never wanted to leave San Sebastian, and Edwards and co. tried everything they could.
I agree on the Ars....best defence in Europe and you can't still PLAY your game? I mean do a back 5 but PLAY the rest as normal with perhaps a different shape. The only real threat at this point Haaland, and he can be man-marked and harrassed to put him off. Arsenal played with fear... which is weird because their CB's and Raya are phenomenal. I think Legohead effed them and tired his own team out when he could have at least had TWO outfielders to relieve pressure... why?... besides giving the defenders a break... it would have meant Citeh needed to take men OUT of the sustained attack to mark the two attackers, so let's 3 fellas would need to not be in the red zone. It was gritty defending... like us vs Spurs... but that was because we were NINE men...and Spurs were just as relentless as City but we STILL managed a few out balls and Mo got fully robbed being blown for a shoulder charge as he was hunting down a winning goal. At this point Arsenal are well drilled... but I don't classify them as brave because they fear losing more so than covet winning...and you can't get to 100 points with that mindset because us and City have been there and bravery and tenacity carry you to that shore imho.
peter beardsley could walk in to any team too.
It really wouldn't at all surprise me if city go in for Zubimendi in January

Chris always looks as if he’s tolerating someone else speaking and twitching for the briefest window to speak… 😂

No I'm saying the way they approached the game overall was a suprise.

He's not going to a club in the Vanarama League.
