Mr.Stadlin is also the son of voice over performer, cartoonist, magician, entertainer, scriptwriter, songwriter, producer and kids tv host/performer:Allen Swift.
What did everybody do when that miserable freeze frame cliffhanger after (Benson) ended? Benson guest starred on (Hotel), did commercials, starred in another sitcom (The Robert Guillaume Show) in 1989, Governor Gatling guest starred on (Perfect Strangers) as Larry Appleton's father, Kraus guest starred on (Newhart) I think in 1989 with Tom Poston, Clayton was on a (Police Academy 5) I think, movie as a villain in 1988, not sure about Katie, Mrs. Cassidy was on a (Police Academy 4) movie in 1987. it's hard to find work after a good show is canceled, it had bad ratings on ABC in The Neilsen 70's anyway, that's what happens when you go up against a strong show like (Dallas) on CBS, the move to Saturday in January 1986 didn't improve either, Saturday seemed to work for NBC Sitcoms at the time, but as for ABC and CBS, not so much.
I enjoy these very much, but your English needs help. Your over & misuse of the word "had" is very irritating. A person doesn't ""had died" they just die
My ex-wife. Loved this show listening to the theme song brings back many good memories ❤️
R.I.P. Mr Benson!
Mr.Guillaume and Mr.Phillips were reunited for the film"Lean On Me"based upon the career of controversial high school principal:Joe Clark.

For Trek fans, it's so neat that "Odo" and "Nelix" were both on Benson.
Was watching a snippet of an episode before I came here and when I hear Ethan's voice all I think of is his character, Neelix....
Rip Robert and James, Governor Gatling and Benson.
Inga Swenson, Didi Conn, Ethan Phillips, Rene Auberjonois, Lewis J Stadlen and Missy Gold.
Also Caroline McWilliams aka Marcy
David Hedison (from the pilot) and Billie Bird are missing.
Also, Benson was the first show to reference the Internet (called Arpanet at the time).
This needs updating because James died in 2016 , Renee` aka Odo died in 2019 , and also Robert Guillaume died in 2017
Why are we hearing an episode throughout this?
I pulled together the below, so YOU don’t have to! ‘Cause that’s just the sort of thing Benson would’ve done.
Actor James Noble, (Governor Gene Gatling) passed away 3/28/16 age 94.
You need a life. What am I talking about, I need a life......
I love the vids but struggle to read the words as they are blury
yeah this upgrading because James Noble died in 2016 and Robert Gaubler aka Benson died in 2017
Caroline McWilliams Never used to wear any underwear on the show... (Filming Secret) :-)
+Deano Essex Missy Gold ended up looking better then her sister Tracey Gold (Growing Pains)
Wasn't Didi also in the movie, "You Light Up My Life"?
I'm wasting my life....
RIP Rene
Missy Gold ended up looking better then her sister Tracey Gold (growing pains).
R I P Robert :-(
She is from Omaha, Nebraska, USA!
And they later married, she left the show, and Didi Conn took her place.
@morgan8757 I remember that, she was engaged to him on the show.
