safe boot, deleting the folder, reinstalling doesn't work for me, game just shows the pop-up and wont launch, no matter regular or safe boot, anyone got a fix for this bullshit?
my game wont even start, I have the game on steam and ive tried safe booting my pc and opening it that way and it wouldnt open when i tried that way either. I dont even get an error code when it doesn't start. I click play and it opens for like 5 seconds and then closes without saying anything.

I had this issue and none of the other fixes helped. I was able to launch SP in Geforce Experience, started the campaign and completed fng. Multiplayer would not open up here as they are on the same software in Geforce. Open MP from steam library and it works just have to cancel the shader cache like this video.
for some reason i had to download a frame uncapper bc it was stuck at 90 frames. this game got so many issues on pc hopefully h2m is as smooth as it looks!
This install slog seems worse than I remember. Game launches and then just closes. No error messages, and doing the process of Safe Boot has the same result. Not sure where to go from here as this doesn't seem to be an issue anywhere else.
I am experiencing something similar where I can't even find a match on console. The game menu freezes after "searching" and you can't even back out after words. You are forced to restart the game to see if it works again, but no luck, same results. I am playing on the Series X, by the way.

can anyone help me my fps is capped at 30 no matter what i do, i change the fps cap with the console in game to 250, my refresh rate is right, ive tried everything but it stays stuck at 30 except in the menus
I fixed the memory error when launching the main game, but I still get it when launching the multiplayer. So I can't even get to the screen that where you ended task at, bc it consistently gives me the memory error for multiplayer now. I absolutely have enough disk space/memory for this so im at a bit of a loss as to why the memory error is occurring on the multiplayer now
Do we risk our Steam accounts with a VAC ban because of H2M? Since we have to mod the original MWR Steam file folder and have to run Steam to start H2M?
I’m not sure why but the frames run terribly on my pc. Could you make a video displaying your video settings? It’s so jittery and I drop to about 30 frames

I know it wasn't discussed in depth in this video, but I followed Meta's video and it didn't work for me as I'm unable to get a network connection when running Safe Mode with Network so I'm unable to open Steam. Anyone encountered this too?
@Jaaykuh @BenedictJoeDeFelice instead of following what Meta did, by starting safe mode via the run prompt. Turn your computer off and when you see the bios boot menu come up, hit F5 on your keyboard and start your computer in safe mode with networking. That should fix it.
@@Se7enUp Thanks for the tip, but I’ve been at it for hours. The ASUS network drivers just aren’t compatible when in Safe Mode. I’ll have to contact ASUS tomorrow for a fix.
i figured out how to populate the shader cache in mwr [4:35 PM] so u want to put your pc in safe mode then load mwr single player then turn off motion blur and shader cache and shader cinematics then back all the way out and close the game start windows normally then loadup multiplayer then cancel your shader cache hit play online go to video settings disable shader cache then back out of the settings then go back into the settings again reanable the shader cache DO NOT CLICK POPULATE SHADER CACHE just back all the way where it says play online again then a message saying shader cache populated will apear SUCCESS SMOOTH CONSISTANT GAMEPLAY!!
Does anyone have a different fix for the out of memory error that doesn’t use the safe mode fix? Cause that just does not work for me. I boot into safe mode with networking and I still get the error

I bought the Infinite warfare bundle and got MWR, but for some reason I can only download the single player and there is no shortcut for the multiplayer in my steam library. Can Anyone please tell me where the shortcut is or how to get it?

Alright not seeing my problem yet so lets see what comments may know. When I launch mine it launches only to bring up a black screen. I can hear the menu audio in the background and when I tab out I can see the screen in the miniplayer when I hover over the tab with my mouse but the moment I try to open it, the screen just blanks out.... Thoughts?
*update* I got the game to launch by changing my audio settings. Audio was originally coming through a dj mixer that I essentially use as a sound card. I Might be worth trying to change your audio settings if you are having this issue.

Search “run” then type “msconfig” and go to safe mode which your pc will restart… launch single player and turn off shaders option and after you do that, exit the game and launch multiplayer and disable shaders option. Each has their own shaders and you need to disable both. Then something will pop up asking either “yes or no” and click “no” then exit game and exit out of safe mode, restart pc and it should let you launch the game without any error

BTW, if you disable the Cache Shaders option in the Video settings you won't get the shader popup when you load the game.

H1-Mod has a launch option called memory fix which will also fix that issue when starting the game.

I had this issue whenever I was in windowed fullscreen. Had to go to normal fullscreen and it fixed the issue.

Yep. Same thing just happened to me. Cant get connected to internet when running safe mode with network, so cant even open steam.

same issue here cant go full screen, you can hit alt+enter to go windowed mode and that should work but you can change refresh rate

Make sure you're playing in Windowed Fullscreen. It could also be that your hardware is not up to spec.
