So many locals repeat the message that the queues are better without fast passes. That may be true for locals who don’t need to do the headline rides each visit. But when your trip will be a once in a lifetime from overseas, the absence of fast pass means you can only do rides like Space Mountain if you are willing to sacrifice a huge chunk of your day. Looking forward to some kind of fast pass returning.
Actually, what they are saying about the queues being better is mostly true for the time being. I visited Orlando last week from the west coast, and decided to drop into EPCOT for a day on a Saturday. The Frozen ride was only a 30 min wait most of the day. The longest line was Fast Track, which was 60 minutes. Everything else was 15 minutes or less. So, on a Saturday during July you could have ridden every single ride in EPCOT well before park closing. You don't need fast pass right now.
We just returned yesterday and Epcot is THE ONLY Park you can ride everything!!! We waited just over 2 hrs for Slinky Dog. it was malfunctioning.. and it was blazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥. IM from SC so I'm used to the humidity and heat bit this past Thursday was a different animal. We rode 7 D mine train waited about an hour. There was a treat of bad weather and the ride attendants were working the line to keep people moving ! I was very impressed!!! They were rocking it to make sure they moved people as fast as they could!!! Idk what the answer for the long lines is but something has to give!!! I think build another park in Texas or Kansas! It would be a central location!
@@techietam when we went back in April, Slinky Dog had an 80 minute wait within the first hour of the park opening. It was our first time going to Disney so we didn’t know which rides to ride first and I wish my husband would’ve gotten to ride it. I couldn’t ride because I was 15 weeks pregnant and had my 1 year old with me lol.
I met Tim this day and It literally made my WHOLE DAY!!!!! After we saw him and got my selfie I was ready to leave because I couldn’t see how my day could get any better ! My family loves watching your family so happy we finally ran into you!
One of my favorite things about Tim is that when he finds something good and new he goes “I have to bring Jenn and Jackson here!” It’s nice that he wants to experience good with them. He really loves his wife and his son!!!
I always love the "let's just ride some rides" days. No agenda, no to do list, no pinky promises to do something they couldn't get to- just relaxing and doing whatever. Good stuff!
I hope happily ever after is coming back! it’s probably one of my favorite firework shows ever. it brings me so much joy and nostalgia. I only saw it once in person, and I’ve always wanted to see it again.
When Disney announces that a fireworks show is ending, then its gone. I remember when the Illuminatios fireworks show began at EPCOT in the year 2000 for its 18 month celebration run, that has now lasted 21 years! LoL

i love the plaza restaurant! the first time my family and i went, we were the 100th customer of the day and they did a cute ceremony type thing for us and gave us golden chocolate mickeys!

Hey Tim, you said you were interested in the front door of the HM. I have read online a comment from an ex cast member that that’s a door which is a facade or fake. Apparently it’s a lot smaller than it looks and if it was opened it would have a 5 ft drop to nothing. Entering through the butler’s port is a part of the HM storyline and experience. Apparently there’s also a ‘secret entrance’ which is more of a cast members entrance that takes you through a hallway with some basic decorations and pictures and a small staircase that takes only 5 minutes to get to the ride. Some lucky people have been taken out of the main line through this entrance. You can see pictures online.

The lines were long like the good old bad old days of the Disney parks pre fast pass ,and not in time for Stitch! All that and Happy ever After ending!!!! Gosh!! If it wasn't for the chicken I would have been crying right now!! I know the 50th Celebrations will be Amazing with many surprises so I will look forward to your coverage of it all and will love to see Jackson's reactions!! I took my boyfriend to Disney world in February of last year for the first time in 20 years. After seeing happily ever after I knew he was my happily ever after. He wanted to go back so bad! We are planning a trip in February and we decided that if the fireworks weren’t back we wouldn’t go. Because for us that was such a magical moment. To hear that it won’t be back and we won’t get to see it again makes me very sad.

Wow I have never seen a line for Space Mountain that long!!! Wowzers!! I first went to MK in 1974 and have been many many times and that line was crazy. My hubby and I love the Plaza restaurant that is first place we eat when we go to wdw.

We were just there and the only ride that we actually waited the posted wait time, was Space Mountain…all the other lines were shorter than the posted wait time. I know this because we timed it, we were at MK the 15th and the 22nd…that being said…waiting in the blazing sun for Space Mountain was torturous…..no shade for a lot of it and it was so hot Glad we got to see Happily Ever After before they retire it, I got choked up watching the show…but the new show sounds amazing Love HM, it’s our favorite ride and rode it multiple times!!

The best cannot miss cinnamon sugar donuts are from the blizzard beach Joffreys location. You have to get a dipping sauce with them recommendation is white chocolate and raspberry but if you’ve never tried them before get all three.
Just got back from Disney and apparently missed @thetimtracker several times, Our Autistic son kept asking if we thought he would get to meet tim and jenn today or not, SADLY NO.. either not in the same area of the park or just different times..Kind of bummed we missed them.. ONE DAY, did snap a picture of him at the UNIQLO store that was so cool, kids where super excited LOVE THE VIDEO'S BEEN LOOOOOONG Time fan...Thank You.
I'm am absolutely begging the US to open its borders for my honeymoon! Our first day at MK will be September 29th so it will be the last time I can see happily ever after and relive my childhood for the last time 🥲😭

I’m soooooo upset over Happily Ever After because I’ve always wanted to see it in person but can’t now because I won’t have vacation time before it ends. Wishes went on for 14 years so it feels premature to pull it now. I wish they would reconsider 😩 also since people from the UK etc can’t travel here to say goodbye

Plaza Restaurant always had the best unlimited milkshakes before covid and the shakes were from the ice cream parlor. I always thought the food at the Plaza was good n loved the decor but it is a small restaurant. Thanks Tim good video

Trackers, do your research on stats of Delta variant in Orange County. Even while vaccinated, you can still catch Delta and give it to Jackson. We were surprised Tim ate indoors, when a few days ago you said you were going to be more careful and wear masks indoors since Jackson is too young to get vaccinated. Delta is highly contagious.
It’s so surprising that you have never been in the Plaza …. We love that place as they make gluten free selections very tasty! It’s the best underrated food in the park.
Those doughnut holes looked good - I'd love to have them with some coffee - hot, or iced. I love the Partners statue, and ask everybody to think of me when they see it. The castle looks fantastic, and MUCH better than the Pepto Bismal cakestle for the 25th!! What the heck did that person yell on the People Mover????!!! in all my visits to the MK, I've never eaten at the Plaza either - every time I had an ADR there, I cancelled, due to other plans. Definitely would like to change that someday, if I ever go back. The chicken on the sandwich looked great, but that bacon is pathetic. Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey. On Disney+ there is a series called Behind The Attraction, and it’s really fun to learn about the behind the scenes of the different attractions 😁👍
Why are these lines so long if they have gotten rid of social distancing? Capacity is supposed to be down yet lines are longer than ever. 🤷🏼♀️

With Plaza restaurant, they used to do unlimited milkshakes, for around $8 I believe. Ever since COVID, they stopped this, and it's kind of disappointing. However, it is still a cute place to eat.

I booked a trip immediately after they announced Happily Ever After was closing. I couldn’t stand the thought of not ever seeing it live again.
I’m soooooo upset over Happily Ever After because I’ve always wanted to see it in person but can’t now because I won’t have vacation time before it ends. Wishes went on for 14 years so it feels premature to pull it now. I wish they would reconsider 😩 also since people from the UK etc can’t travel here to say goodbye
Totally what I feel now! many people from outside US can't see it in person yet, all I can do is watch it on youtube with my teary eyes :')

Plaza Restaurant always had the best unlimited milkshakes before covid and the shakes were from the ice cream parlor. I always thought the food at the Plaza was good n loved the decor but it is a small restaurant. Thanks Tim good video

Thankyou Tim for being so honest about the food some bloggers are not, if it’s not good it’s not good then maybe Disney will change it to make it good we have said for a very long time the food just isn’t as good as it used to be years ago

Tim, love the videos...keep them coming especially of Disney World and especially the Magic Kingdom, my favorite park. Heading down in late August and these videos are really getting me in the mood.
Wishes was the show I watched as a little girl, but I grew up with HEA. Sooo sad I won’t get to see it again in person, but really really hopin they have something up their sleeves with the show that’s going to replace it. 💖
I only saw HEA once, it makes me sad it is going away so fast. Never got to see the Epcot show

Trackers, do your research on stats of Delta variant in Orange County. Even while vaccinated, you can still catch Delta and give it to Jackson. We were surprised Tim ate indoors, when a few days ago you said you were going to be more careful and wear masks indoors since Jackson is too young to get vaccinated. Delta is highly contagious.

It’s so surprising that you have never been in the Plaza …. We love that place as they make gluten free selections very tasty! It’s the best underrated food in the park.

Those doughnut holes looked good - I'd love to have them with some coffee - hot, or iced. I love the Partners statue, and ask everybody to think of me when they see it. The castle looks fantastic, and MUCH better than the Pepto Bismal cakestle for the 25th!! What the heck did that person yell on the People Mover????!!! in all my visits to the MK, I've never eaten at the Plaza either - every time I had an ADR there, I cancelled, due to other plans. Definitely would like to change that someday, if I ever go back. The chicken on the sandwich looked great, but that bacon is pathetic.
