If Seagal would have retired after Under Siege, he'd be a Hollywood legend.
Exit Wounds was pretty good too, everything after that was crap
Career Lived long enough to become the villain 😂
Facts
Yes maybe dont now name of film. He act Federal Agent come to some Red Neck place that is not bad aslo. But after that he should retire.
Under Seige 2 is pretty awesome too.
Seagal older films were the best. Always loved watching him kick ass
What?
Steven was the man at his time . He was making fight scene look real.
Because he was really hitting them without their permission. Guy is a dick
The cameraman angles are what made the fight scenes look better. Steven Seagal couldn't and wouldn't fight with real fighter like Van Damme
❤️🎥🌟🔥
Because he was actually hitting these muthafuckas 😂
He was the best and not only as actor. As a producer adn writer too. One man army
Seagal's first 5 movies were awesome. Nobody has seen a guy fight or act like he did. In his films he has embraced and was part hispanic culture, Italian culture, indigenous cultures and Japanese culture and it all was all very believable.
Too bad he fell off like that and turned out to be such a prick
You forgot his Russian culture, his mongol culture, I'm sure he is probably Chinese too, and...
@@olgierdolo5510 *Prick? Look around you ova here...is this the setting for profanity?*

Very true , and as a Hispanic I will always have Respect for Steven . It's sad though Hispanics we're more excepted in movies then the present .
God your gullible
At one time, Steven Seagal actually tried hard, and there's some genuine quality work here.
He was also like 50 pounds lighter here.
@@s.tavares3257 that helps a great deal!
You can't be serious 😂🤣
@@s.tavares3257 I would say 60 pounds lighter.
Yes Seagal made good action movies
I like the 80's /90's Seagal style, I know he is kind of selfish on interviews but I was a child in the 90's and I grew up with this type of movies.
Exactly. In a way he brought some real stuff to the TV that was'nt seen before.
Same
I loved his early work as well I grew up watching it.
Before he became a Glazed ham with painted on hair and goatee
Before he uses body doubles and voice Dubbing
Steven Seagal is legendary action star of all time
everyone gets old and it aint pretty
Don't give too much credit
Darren I just came here to say something about the spray paint hair but you put it better than I ever could mate 👍 😂
@@hexchad765 yeah but he is in deniel
@@VergilDarkslayer it's pronounced "Daniel"
This has surprisingly good fight choreography. Never expected this from a seagal movie.
Up to a certain age Seagal was the shit.
early segal fights were truly unbeatable
That head fake for a second was enough for him to distract the guy w the gun and gain the offensive. Love those subtle things about martial art.
no, IRL Nicco Tosconi gets shot in the face.
Michael Rooker, once again proving he’s one of the best parts of any movie
Why does the bartender look like my old gym teacher from the early 90s? 🤣🤣🤣
That's cause he is.
2:25 You wanna get high (wham). Huh, you wanna get high (wham)😅😅😅
Steve's older movies were fucking legendary!!!!
And fake as hell.
Knock off the profanity Alan here on YT. Thanks.
@@saulgster all movies are fake 😭😭

A martial arts expect on RUclips analyzed this scene and said it was fairly realistic...though not much Aikido...
No matter how much people dis Seagal, you can't deny that he is a legend
A legend in running like a girl
Has been is more like it. You should google what legend means.
@@teddywestside4816 then u should Google what an idiot is
@@bharatbhushanbhandari9855 I did, a picture of Seagal came up.
He is you cant deny that. You can learn alot from this guy besides the fact he's unliked now.
Hey man don’t do me ugly lol 😂
Always liked that line, too.! Too late for some..
0:41 I always forget that Michael Rooker is in this movie for about two seconds. He's been cool since day one.
I was curious if this would be mentioned in the comments, I just saw it. I’ve seen this movie about 300 million times and I just caught that!
I was surprised to see him in this movie. Too bad he only had one line in one scene. Great actor!
Rowdy Burns from "Days Of Thunder"
Sherman McMasters from "Tombstone"
He was great in Mississippi Burning
@@michaeldover Man, he's had a thousand great performances. Listing only two is almost an insult, unless you say those are your favorites.
The first scene when my dad and I had a new fav action hero besides Clint. Miss ya dad, and our Seagal marathon bbq Sundays!
Man what a great post! I am sorry your dads not here anymore.
This guy came out of nowhere Acting, writing and produce his own movies without any experience. And he made them top level in every aspect
It's a money laundering scheme. Top notch fight scenes in his first few movies, do doubt.
@@danielboone8435 You're a dope if you think his first several films were about that. Learn your history, son.
That is probably the most authentic compliment of Steven Seagal I've ever seen or heard.
In his day, he was legendary!
His line delivery may be the greatest I’ve seen
This when he was good. 💯💯💯
Been a while since I've seen this. Kind of wild seeing Michael Rooker as a background actor.
Just noticed it too
Yes lol.
"This guy ain't nothin'"
*proceeds to beat the shit out of all his friends*
“Skifuu” or whatever his name is has the best lines in the whole movie… he deserves a whole TV series for himself…everything that comes out of his mouth is gold…
“Go buy your mama a condominium”
“Destroying the image of my place”
“Don’t do me ugly”
“I’m connected”
guy comes in my place middle of the day starts wrecking shit putting my customers in orbit.....

plot twist: he is not acting
Hey man, don’t do me ugly🤣
Old stuff.
"You wanna get highh?? Hann? YOU WANNA GET HIGH?" Lmao

Funni maulin his ass lol
Back when Segal was a bad ass and these movies were fun to watch!
seagal and van damme have inspired so many people to change their lives for the better through martial arts, stop hating on him, stop bullying him.
Pam Grier 😍
Don’t do me ugly !!! Hahahaha,
Steven is a badass, not a goodass. That's why I love him.
The aikidoughnuts sensei , respect !
I will tell you something, I grew up almost all action actors in martial arts, and I used to train myself, Steven Segal is the man, I have analyzed enough fights from Bruce Lee, Van Dam, Jet Lee ... but this man is a master of how to fight and bones are broken..Segal my fav.
Cool to have a favourite actor and all but fights never go like this! Mate fights are scrappy as hell and over fairly soon. He is flapping his hands around and using the choreography to make it look like he is manipulating momentum and all. But in reality he would have a glass smashed into his face or a stool across the head. Watch anyone try that kind of stuff in a fight and it wouldn't go very well at all. Jet Li and Bruce made some amazing films and all but i think with the explosion of MMA it has exposed many of the flaws in these systems. Good for point scoring and sparring sure but not in fights. You would be better off training in boxing to get a handle on your guard, stances, reach, coordination and framing yourself. Also getting hit in the face. That's the biggest thing... Once you get in a few fights you lose the fear and shock of being hit and that's incredibly important to have. I would bet money on a scrapper who has been in loads of fights over a black belt who hasn't any day of the week.
Saying that I bloody love Under Siege! 😂 I remember the trailer was on a VHS of Batman or something I had as a kid so I knew it off by heart. Loved it ever since I first seen it. Tommy Lee Jones is amazing in it and Erica Elaniac is also 👌

I agree with you, maybe I did not explain well so, Segal is the most brutal for me in his films, that is my opinion, he has charisma and style in it, of course I love Van Dam, Lee, and some other action actor I watched as a child in the past, of course Segal is neither the best nor the strongest, it is disgusting to comment on that, he is not one of them, if I look like that then Mirko Crocop will beat all those you mentioned..but well , the point is that, taste, choice, bias always exists
@@viktorcule4499 hey my friend thanks so much for the reply! I apologise if I sounded like i was having a go! One of my favourite films is Atomic Blonde. Yes of course I enjoy Charlize Theron and Sophia Boutella! Lol but the fight scenes are absolutely AMAZING and it is such a stylish film. If you havnt seen it yet I urge you to do my friend, it takes place in 1989, very close to when the Berlin Wall fell.
Ip Man with the amazing Donnie Yen is another excellent one. As is The Raid.
Unfortunately I don't speak the beautiful Russian language so thank you for the translation. One of my, well no my no1 perfect girl is a Russian cosplayer called Octokuro.... I first was blown away by her Quiet from MGS V cosplay...omg she is unreal, as are many gorgeous Russian women.
One of my dreams is to see the winter Palace in St Petersburg, to have a drink and some sunflower seeds with a sexy gopnitsa, eat some proper khovorst, have some proper Russian 'baked milk/scalded milk' and enjoy everything the amazing place has to offer. I had a friend I worked with from Russia so I know a bit about the culture and the like.
Thanks again Victor my friend for the reply and its cool to talk to action fans and movie fans like yourself 👍

Back when guns only the range of Steven's arm length...
I loved this film. The best bit was when he punches that big dude in the solar plexus. Not an Aikido technique incidentally.
I think he knees him in the plexus, not a punch. Either a knee to the plexus or a kick to the nuts. The only aikido in this scene is when he disarms the guy with the gun.
@@bodoor8172 definitely a punch but yeah not much aikido going on for sure.ruclips.net/video/3FJhvIxNxTU/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Back when seagal was actually tolerable
In case you're wondering why it looks so real. It's because Steven is really hitting them. The real actors are the stuntmen who had no choice but to keep acting while getting punched in the face.
Damn that’s fucked up

Bullshit.
He definitely did that to those guys for real. I never once thought it was fake. Those two guys faces he smashed in, probably got paid good for getting fucked up like that.

I don’t blame him. Just wish he’d had a better doctor ..
If he only retired he wouldve been a legend
Seagal is a joke now, but back in the days he was special in one important way: he made movie fights look dangerous. More than other 80s action stars, he conveyed the idea that he was really hurting his opponents, breaking bones and snapping necks. And he didn't have the "movie star" looks of Arnold or Van Damme, which amplified the feeling that this guy was a real killer, not an actor.
exactly, it's what is missing from action movies today, they are all over polished and over done garbage. Seagals early movies are better action movies then anything hollywood has put out since then and its not even close.
He’s no joke ..

Great scene, although in real life I suspect a cop wouldn't have his job very long if he engaged in that kind of brutality.
Which is too bad. Some criminals need to be taught a lesson.

I love how he says who else wants some after he subdues buddy with the gun. The words of a confident and fearless martial artist.
