I liked the Splatfest in Splatoon 2 where the had the Dome close down on certain sections of the map after a certain amount of time. It was very unique.
I was just gonna say that! 😄 It looks like the idol showdown theme theory is indeed correct, going by the eyes on each team's symbol! AND IT LOOKS SO COOL 🤩!!! It looks as if it's a whole new game, or at least a new story mode or DLC or something!!! 😄😄😄
Which somewhat might make a DEEP CUT in the future of splatoon, if past wins, do we get a game based off of the great turf war? Or present? Do we keep splatoon as is? Or future? A splatoon 4?
@@HappyLilKirbs probably cause it was the first game and the devs were still figuring out content cycle. I could be wrong but I think S1 also had the shortest content cycle, just over a year so that can be a part of it.

What about Splatoween and Frostyfest? Weren’t those datamined to come also, i mean we could expect rerun splatfests but they couldn’t on those. In splatoon 2, they did splatoween and frostyfest twice before the final fest.
Its the CARBOHYDRATES final fest (also just bc itll be the anniversary doesnt mean itll be the final fest but i wish it was just late august when im least busy)
I kinda figured that the final fest would probably happen in September two reasons why and I will try to explain why I think that would happen in September for starters if you remember in splatoon two the final fest happened in July the same month that splatoon 2 had it 2nd anniversary so if they are going to do that with splatoon 3 then it really likely that it would happen in September to go alongside the anniversary for the 2nd year and also (splatoon 3 have a special place in my heart/mind because it came out 2 days after my birthday my birthday is September 7 and it came out on September 9 two days after my birthday 🎂 I like it as a birthday present for me 🎉
It might not be the Final Splatfest. It might be the 2nd anniversary of Splatoon 3 Splatfest. It will make more since the final fest would be September of next year because of the 10th anniversary of the splatoon series. They did show data for 2nd splatoween and 2nd frosty fest for Splatoon 3.

@@Neoxon619 The reason why Splatoon 3 was released 5 years after Splatoon 2 was because Splatoon 2 still kept making splatfests during the pandemic, and this was after the final splatfest of Chaos vs. Order.

The final splatfest already!? 2 years feels like not a ling time. All the things they add to this game are great and all but what about preserving the game? We need an offline instant action game mode where we play everything online but offline against bots! What about Splitscreen multi-player too? It boggles my mind Nintendo wont add these things to this game! Splatoon needs these features! It should be more than playable offline just like the classic star wars battlefront games! If the servers go down then this game is dead just like Splatoon 1. If they are going to add any anything they need to add the ability to play the game offline against bots!
Man I really hope I can check out Splatoon 3 from my local library around the time of the final fest. I missed the Splatoon 2 final fest, I really don't want to miss another one.
