Fun fact/just in case you didn't find out after: there is a rail under that front grip thing. On the left side of the grip is 2 or 3 screws, and if you unscrew them it gives you a rail that looks similar to the old Stampede lower rail

It definitely needs an adapter of some form, but it can somewhat be used with a Nerf grip

@@GigglyGoblin It has the same rails as blasters like the Spectrum, Matrixfire, Blitzfire, etc. which I believe is a standardized rail format similar to picatinny so you could probably buy an actual fore grip or at least use the one from the Matrixfire.

I found it interesting when Not Nuff Nerf reviewed this blaster he ran Duracell Lithium (6 x 1.8V) and was hitting right at 110 fps. He ran the same batteries in the Spectrum and hit only about 95 fps. Definitely a sound difference in the motors too. DZ is listening and making improvements not just reshells.

Internally it is a spectrum…so far cages, pushers and triggers I’ve tried have all fit 🤘🏻

Perrrrrfect. Not gonna lie, I like the shapes on this blaster much better than the spectrum, this one will be the one I kit out.

I genuinely think this blaster is so important. It’s still such a powerful thing to be able to go to a store and get a semi auto blaster that hits 100-110 FPS, as well as a stock and sights, for $25. It is an incredibly inexpensive way to build a functional HvZ loadout that will deliver the hits.

  • @pastiesandagstring

Def a solid blaster. I’ll always be a fan of the stryfe because I was around for its birth but just from a performance stand point. Out of the box this beats a stryfe. Plus considering the stryfes steady price increase over time and lack of availability anymore, this is certainly a terrific option for someone who just wants a decent blaster without getting into the “pro” lines or spending a fortune. I really like the stock too. Wish it folded but that’s getting pretty fancy I know. it’s awesome it can take so many different stock options and it’s current one looks pretty solid already.

I plan to invest in one of these. I have experience in this hobby for quite a while, but I've never actually owned a Dart Zone blaster in my collection. But for the first one, I think the Thunderbolt is a good place to start. 100+ FPS, N-Strike Stock compatibility, and a cool 15 dart magazine, I think I might purchase one, if a Thunderbolt is available.

N Strike stock attachment to buffer tube conversion, injection molded? That piece right there is a game changer all on its own. I want like... three of them.
Hang on a second. The N Strike stock to buffer tube adapter from Worker is $20. A 15 round banana mag from Worker is $20. This blaster, with everything, ships for... $25. It's literally worth buying even if you keep the stock and magazine and throw the rest away. ....I'm driving to Target right now.
