Pro-tip: for a pro tree (where all three lights flash at once right before the green), go when you see the yellow lights. By the time the signal gets from your brain to your feet (or in this case, fingers), the light will be green. Reaction time is key in drag racing.

It honestly is, between drivers and whole teams being cut out, tuning working opposite to how it does irl, the racing itself being worse than the other drag games made by the same devs, and half of the cars don't have suspension physics so they crash once you get past the finish line.
@@Tytrovy It was to be expected as it was made by Team6... I also don't understand why they made an arcadeish game to appeal to the masses when the only people who are going to spend this much money on NHRA drag racing game are NHRA fans themselves, which would probably want an immersive experience.
lets be honest, 95% of drag racing mobile games are better than this

Never played a Drag only game but i loved the Drag DLC for Grid Autosport which was really well made and detailed. The Funny cars were really a challenge ^^
If you want a good mobile game, play Doorslammers Drag Racing 2. There isn't funny cars or technically Top Fuel cars, but there are a bunch of recognizable cars in it.
obviously why the game look so hard is because :
-Big HP
-Funny Cars are unable to steer, which means it's hard to control the stability
-Wheelie would make you tumble
-and it's Theo

Theo, gas it right after the third yellow, the time it takes to hit green is the time it takes your brain to react and act by hitting the gas, also shift on green. This is coming from a drag racer who has a few trophies of his own.
To launch you should rev the engine, that will make the car much faster off the line.
This video is amazing 🤣 theo never thought he'd be going 300mph, the crash was great. AND he threw the chutes at the start. From a drag racing fan, you're doing great theo. Maybe you'll get into drag racing after this

Interesting , its quite rare that you made a video about a racing game that you sponsored with , I guess the last time was Assetto Corsa Mobile with 505 Games , and now a NHRA Speed For All with GameMill Entertainment , I hope THQ Nordic do this with Wreckreation as well (which the game that you also made a video about it as well )
I'm a bit skeptical on 3 Fields Entertainment, the devs didn't show up for a single Wreckreation slot at gamescom, like 4 times. Hopefully it was just transportation issues and not them trying to avoid talking

The old NHRA games back in the PS2 games used to be decent! I had high hopes for this but as an actual drag racing fan it looks a bit meh 😬

Other than the engine for racing, lack of branding, and childish career, game actually looks good, but it's gonna fail. I'll stick to the games of old.
@@johnhornback4698 I still have the NHRA Championship Game & 2 of the IHRA ones from back in the day and my US PS2, I need to dig it out and relive the nostalgia! I always preferred the IHRA 2 game

You need to launch when the Christmas tree is full yellow, maybe a little later but before the green, especially in slower cars.

Here's some tips for you: in the super modified, pro mod, and pro stock classes, you do a standing burnout holding the throttle and the brake at the same time... let your tyres get to about 260 then release the brake... then keep the throttle pressed until you just pass the "Christmas tree", then let the car coast to a stop... your tyre temp should be locked in at thus point... you want your tyre temp to be between 170 and 210, then back straight up if possible, and, if possible, line you car up over your burnout marks, that rubber layed down will provide added grip at launch... once you are fully staged (all 4 blue lights on top of the Christmas tree are lit), hold the brake as instructed, and press the throttle at the same time, thus will bring your engine revs up at the start... once the YELLOW lights come on, release the brake with the throttle fully pressed... this will give you a faster launch for quicker E.T.s...
Oh, and pulling the chutes on the green light, that was classic... I was like, "that's not gonna work"... had me dying laughing... then just before that when you were like, "WE SMASHED IT!"... I was like, "yeah, ya did that alright, straight into the wall"...
Overall, I liked the video... and the game is not horrible, the sound needs a lot of work, and the graphics and physics could use some polishing... but the game has potential to be a diamond in the rough...

Sad fact is Atlanta dragway is no longer around they shut it down at the end of 2021 l live down the road from the track and brakes my hart to see it so empty.

Honestly Theo launch control helps a lot before the lights start dropping see if the game lets you rev to a certain rpm then launch

in a funny car you can’t hold the brake to do a burnout you just gotta hit it, and you can’t get on the converter either w the funny car… the funny car was the hardest for me to get straight down the track
